  1. Had a look through the book, nothing regarding aftermarket actuator. Will try grounding brown & white, and also power to purple.
  2. Chris I'll have a look when I get home cheers! Daniel, I assumed that the alarm system power also had enough power for the central locking? Maybe not? The orange wire is looped back into the unit by the way, doesn't actually have an end to go anywhere. So in that case just purple into 12V?
  3. Hey Guys, Just (half) installed a Mongoose M20S alarm into my R33, I have installed an aftermarket Actuator in the door but can't get it to fire with the alarm unit. The wiring on the Actuator is: Black = Common Brown = Normally Open White = Normally Closed Blue = M (What is M?) Green = M On the Mongoose I have this as the central locking relay: Any idea which wire goes into which? I have been told you only use Blue and Green and the others get grounded? I tried that and it didn't fire, I also left blue and green as is and plugged Purple (alarm) into the Brown wire of the actuator, still nothing. What do you guys think? Cheers, Borci88.

  6. Spread the word, Simon is going to experiment with his angus.
  7. Asked Pettett this, he said don't touch it or he'll fine me for tampering with it,
  8. uwotm8, this is Burwood not Cranbourne!
  9. Send Chris an email at Racepace, we have our own little set that we put on, can't tell you price unfortunately but I know they're competitive and some of the best you can get.
  10. Sold the car after buying coilpacks, misfire annoyed me that much.... It only crossed my mind it was that vac leak a year later (young and naive).
  11. Nope won't affect it, I used to do it on my last car, although the tape didn't last long!
  12. Well when he goes Prinny HWY almost weekly like a Kris Phaggot and has to brake from 200kmh I guess you do wear out the fluid a little faster than usual...
  13. You're a bitch Simon!
  14. So does he still do it for $250 unsupplied? Or has his price dropped, cos my last alarm cost $350 to install (I supplied alarm), and it wasn't an amazing install to justify that price.
  15. Ever used him Aaron?
  16. Who's a good alarm installer that doesn't charge $3-400+ just for an install? I have a basic alarm/immoboliser ready to go in.
  17. That guy has some epic calves..
  18. No one in here can change coilovers without a breaker bar?
  19. Needs more low, especially in regard to the front lip.....
  20. Outside Knox, best area!
  21. Pettett if I remember correctly from the defect label, I'll look later.
  22. Yep planning on writing up a draft on the weekend, but have no idea where to start on any of it Just know that I've got enough anger to do it.
  23. Sooo, pretty disappointed atm, I thought I made a mistake and Pettett was right, my car WAS too low... WRONG. Didn't touch the car since the defect, didn't raise it, didn't change exhaust, nothing. Took it in to get RWC 2 days later, passed first go. Took it to Vicroads this morning, they height checked it + listened to exhaust, both passed. What the f**king shit is going on, Will be carrying a tape measure in the car from now on so I can measure his bullshit $3 dollar bunnings caster wheel next time.
