Hi,
Just wondering what type of lights I would need for the dash cluster(speedo, rpm,oil etc..), the stock 3 gauge set in the middle of the dash, aircon lights and the automatic gear shift lights (p, r, d etc..)
Thanks

Hi guys,
Have been looking on the net and through the forums, but I cant seem to find anything
I'm after, as the topic says a carbon fibre radio surround for my 34 , and also an AC surround. I have noticed a lot of people have done DIY's with the 3M carbon fibre vinyl, which looks fantastic...but im afraid if i attempt to do it, i'll just stuff everything up. I know Just Jap sell real carbon fibre surrounds for S13, 14, 15's but nothing for skylines.
Does anyone know where I can get them?
Thanks,
Jacob

Hi,
Not sure if these are still available, but I'm after a set of TE37SL's (18x9.5+22) fo my r34.
How much would I be looking at?
Thanks

think the same thing is happening to my stock gauge, although mine just sits on -1 as in not registering anything.
try this: http://www.skylinesa...09#entry5135109
let us know...
I had a look at it, i think that thread refers to this:
http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/259107-r34-factory-boost-guage-fault/
I don't know how to solder tho lol

Hi,
I've looked through the forums about issues with the boost sensor, but have yet to receive an answer to my problem.
When I first got my car back in September the boost gauge was working fine...and then suddenly one day I started my car and I noticed that the needle on the gauge was at the very top (+1). I knew something was wrong, but I wasnt sure what it was, some people said it was the sensor and that I would need to replace it and others said i had a leak in the vacuum tube..i'm still not 100%
Anyways the problem is still there, and the needle is usually stuck at the top, or occassionally will go down...it has a mind of its own.
I'd really like to fix it, as its starting to piss me off.
Thanks

Thanks for that. Does anyone know if the speakers will fit my car though?

Hi,
I have decided to get a sound system for my r34, and am in need of a few questions to be answered.
I have decided to get a full alpine setup:
INA-W900E (Headunit)
SPX-17 PRO (Front speakers)
SPR-17C (Rear speakers)
PDX-1.1000 (Amp for sub)
PDX-4.150 (Amp for speakers)
The first question is will the front speakers fit into the door without mods, and will the rears fit without mods?
The second is, will having rear speakers have much difference with this setup, or should I just stay with the stock ones?
The third question is should I get one sub or two?
And finally, when I have the aforementioned sub, will I need the two amps mentioned or just run everything on the 4 channel amp?
Thanks guys,
Jacob

Hi,
The other day I was driving my 34, and my boost meter was normal, it sat on 0, and when accelerated would raise a bit above 0....
Last night I turned my ignition on without starting the car and immediately my boost meter went above +1...obviously what was being displayed was false...as my car wasnt even on...
After I started the engine the boost meter behaved the same, only dropping when my I turned my car off.
Any suggestions on fixing the meter would be great.
Thanks,
Jacob

Hi guys,
Recently imported my skyline, and am interested in doing some various mods....
I dont want to go overboard and spend alot of money, but anything to improve performance would be great.
Im new to the skyline scene, and would appreciate any pointers.
Thanks,
Jacob

I just cheat.
Go to the shoe care section of the supermarket.
- Buy black "scuff remover" and some black shoe polish (I recommend the kiwi branded stuff)
- Apply the scuff remover on the "worn bits" - let it soak in.
- Keep re-applying scuff remover until the "worn bits" are black.
- Wait 1/2 hour
- Now apply a light coat of shoe polish on the blackend "worn bits" and the surrounding leather. This is more to help seal the worn leather.
- Brush with a shoe brush - It should now be hard to see.
It lasts a long time for me - roughly 6 months if done properly - the trick is to ensure the scuff remover really soaks into the damaged leather as the shoe polish is there for protection - not colour.
Might give that a go.
Thanks man

Hi,
Currently my steering wheel has lost its colour at the top, and am interested in getting it replaced with a new one, i would like to know:
- How much do they cost?, and
- Whereabouts may i be able to purchase one?
My car is 1999 R34 GT-T (Tiptronic)
Another alternative, would be purchasing an aftermarket steering wheel, but as the 34 is airbagged, im not 100% sure what i can and cant do...i've looked on the forums, and a few people have changed there's over with an aftermarket wheel, am i able to?
Thanks,
Jacob

Hi,
Am importing a car, and want to look at some stock on www.iauc.co.jp , but have unfortunately been unable to find a login for it...
I have looked on google, and the login's i have found, seem to have expired or been changed.
If anyone has a login or know's of a login, it would be excellent.
Thanks,
Jacob

Hi,
I am in the middle of buying an R32, and should hopefully be getting it next week. Unfortunately, i am not quite sure which insurance provider to go with.
SGIC quoted me online for $1639.29 (I am Listed as 2nd driver, with parent)
Just Car online: $1529 (I am Listed as 2nd driver, with parent)
Is there any other insurance provider to go with, or am i only limited to those 2?
Could you please give me feedback on Just Cars, SGIC or any other insurance provider you have dealt with.
Thanking you,
Jα©òβ
Questions About Respraying Rims?
in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
Posted
Hi,
Just wondering how much I would be looking at for respraying 4 x 18" rims gloss black.
Anyone know a good place in Adelaide that could do this?
I have been hearing people mention that powder coating would be a better option, but am not sure whether or not to do that.
Thanks,
Jacob
