haha yes for sure...my dad has been with the nrma for 40+ years and was horrified to find that this is the way that they treat people who have been in an accident with one of their members. they deny that they've done anything wrong and they think that four months is a perfectly reasonable amount of time to be without a car. like most things it's just turned into scraping every cent possible out of people rather than looking at the bigger picture. i was always under the impression that being completely blameless in an accident always meant that you dont get screwed around and it doesn't cost you anything but unfortunatly thats not how this went down at all. silver lining is that im going to upgrade to the car i wanted before i got the GTT and i will definatly be going full comprehensive, its much cheaper now that im over 21.

i dont know what the click would be, i dont think it would be coming from one of the computers unless theres a short there..if it was me id be getting an auto electrician or someone who can try and identify the faults in it, might save yourself alot of heartache

can u try resetting them by disconnecting the battery for a while? ive heard of people doing this but it might only be for your main ecu.

traction control and abs are in the boot arent they? left hand side?

Hey guys up for sale is my white 1998 R34 GTT. The car has had a hit in the rear end and has been listed as a write off by the NRMA. The car was in VGC up until the accident..I am not interested in seperating any parts, i am selling the car as a whole only. Car still has all parts on it so i wont make a list of absolutely everything. But the main points are: Rb25DET NEO 6 Turbo engine with just under 100k on the clock, still runs perfectly. RB25 manual gearbox, in great condition, no grinding or anything when changing. Full standard interior, some interior parts have been CF wrapped by Charles89 Sports Max Rims- black with chrome dish, not sure of exact specs but sit fairly flush with R34 guards Unknown brand jap coilovers, pretty firm for street use. Altia bodykit- front and sides only.Also has rear spoiler, not sure what model it is but will post up a pic. Fibreglass bonnet from Blitz bodykits in QLD, painted black Full turbo back exhaust system with Varex muffler Apexi Power FC with hand controller Greddy Profec B spec ii ( may be the only thing that doesn't come with the car) HKS turbo timer Alpine speakers and head unit, not the greatest ones. Turbologic Hi Flow OP6, has never been fitted to my car, but it was checked by turbologic before i bought it and they said it was in good condition. Hybrid front mount with powdercoated dark grey piping. Z32 AFM not fitted, has no plug. Xenon headlights, both sides in perfect condition with brand new bulbs i bought off 666DAN Standard front guards, both sides perfect condition Those are all the main things i can think of for now. As i said i am not interested in a part out, the car must be taken as a whole. you will require a tow truck or car trailer to pick it up as its a write off and cannot be driven on the road. Engine is still running so please let me know if you want to come and inspect it so i can make sure the battery is charged up. Looking for a quick sale and i am negotiable on price, please keep any negative comments to yourselves I'm asking $5500 negotiable for the lot. hey guys, just thought id update this thread for those that are interested... to save backtracking through previous posts, my car was rear ended the day before australia day and has sat at the smash repairers ever since, and we are now in the final stages of settling the matter...after a repair job that has gone on for almost four months the insurance company decided that cost were running too high and that they are now going to write off my car, which according to their own rules they cannot do this would have suited me just fine 3 months ago or so but not after waiting so long, especially with the offer they gave me to write it off. so we told them to jam it and they since come back with a reasonable offer which we've accepted, but we will still be pursuing them for damages for all the time iv been without a car etc. as part of the deal il be recieving the wreck back, but i will put up a thread in the for sale section on that. will be very to see my skyline go, but will be moving on to something different i think. thanks for the support when it happened peeps, hopefully no one else gets caught out like this

just call the cops anyway, and get it all recorded, should always do it unless its just a little carpark ding...if its in new south wales they probably wont attend if both cars can drive and if no one is hurt, but call them anyway. you never know what kind of shifties the other party involved will try and pull. call them up and get an incident number so that the insurance companies can refer to it later...the last thing u want to be doing is calling them up going ummm i had an accident like umm two weeks ago. always cover yourself as best you can..i didn't and my car has been off the road for coming up to four months now +1 for calling your insurance company, even if you only have third party and you wont be making a claim with them, let them know anyway good luck getting it sorted mate, sux about the accident
