Motogp last week had 1 commercial which was only about 15 seconds! I guess all the commercials show that F1 is popular...

Webber says he ignored multiple calls to hold position; Here And he wasn't happy about receiving them either
  3. Had a similar problem with a Mazda 626 years ago, mechanic couldn't work it out but after looking at a manual I tried replacing the thermo switch for the fan and that fixed it. The problem was the fan simply wasn't turning on until far too late, was cheap and easy to replace the sensor on the Mazda so might be worth tryingnout.

Thought they couldn't open them up. They have a few of those little stickers around the engine joints saying "void if broken"

The big danger for RBR is if Alonso is way back or out then whether Vettel or Mark is leading the other will have to have a go if at all possible and they potentially take themselves out and Alonso takes the crown. Lucky for RBR the constructors is already decided I guess... Really would love to see Mark take pole and win it all of his own accord whatever happens behind him. Must be frustrating as hell being regularly pipped by a tenth or so by Vettel.

Listening to Webber, it sounds like he is better able to get the car setup since he has said a few times his feedback and changes are going into Vettel's car. Getting a driver with the ability to communicate well with the engineers is not always easy so it might be Vettel wouldn't be doing so well on his own. Certainly, replacing Webber with a 'junior' driver would lose them quite a bit of experience... Anyway, I think Webber needs the extra incentive the drama is bringing to stoke the fire in his belly, maybe Horner sees this too and is purposely inciting a little controversy, after all it also helps getting Redbull in the news Maybe they all get bonuses for every article that has the Redbull name mentioned, they sure are getting a lot of mileage out of it all.

  9. Cool, works been busy this week, will try and give you a call this Friday or otherwise early next week.
  10. Hi Chris, is the cruise control kit DIY or pro only? Also, do you do any work for "Top Gear Vehicle Imports"? I have a V35 Coupe coming in through them next month...
  11. Guess I won't bother with insurance during transport then, but what if the ship sinks?! And, when it arrives in Australia I should be able to get it covered by normal car insurance. To get from the dock to wherever, I believe I can get a temporary permit to drive the car from one location to another (did this with an unlicensed motorbike from local auction recently), is that what most do? I'm guessing I can just drive it home if I need to wait for compliance, then get another permit to drive it to compliance, then home or the pits for licensing. Is there a limit on the number of permits you can get?
  12. I'm looking to import a V35 Coupe and was wondering what peoples thoughts are on insurance, and for that matter what options are available. There are, I think, four stages to potentially cover before you can obtain normal car insurance; From purchase (auction, dealer) to port / loading on ship. Shipping from Japan to Australia. Unloading / storing at Aussie port. Picking up and delivering to Compliance / Home (this step could possibly be covered by normal car insurance? Although the car would not be roadworthy at this point) Is it possible to insure end to end? Do people normally bother or do most just wear the risk? What would you do?
  13. As a matter of interest I did a quick search but couldn't see a post explaining what work is actually done to comply the V35 (Coupe in particular). Is there a list somewhere of the work that needs to be performed or can anyone provide the details? Would just like to know what work / parts are involved.
  14. This is the sort of thing I would like; .I doubt there is enough room on the V35 though... plus I wouldn't want to park it just anywhere!
  15. I think I need to lie down after reading that... very comprehensive. Well done!
