    Thanks for tagging along guys. I'm keen to get a night cruise happening soon and we'll hit up the Lobethal christmas lights. I'm sure the kids would love that. Lobethal sounds great - hopefully the family will be over their colds so I wont miss it like I did this one.

    Speaking from the Cressida experience, set no.1 piston to top-dead-centre lining up markers on the cam gears making sure it was for the compression cycle, think i needed the cam covers off to check it was, then had to line up a marker on the dizzy to a mark on the block and that basicly got it all lined up. Not sure how nissan engines are set up though, best bet is a workshop manual on how to set timing.

    Double check your timing to make sure its not set for the exhaust cycle and is in the compression cycle. I know I did that when fixing the head gasket in the Cressida last year, but if that hadnt happened, i wouldnt have a Stag today
