Does a nugget mean its like ..worth heaps? eg a gold nugget. Anyway my car is absolutely immaculate. Nice engine, Blitz Ecu, cheap on fuel. I drive like a grandma to get maximum fuel economy so like I can do heaps of laps in George St yelling out to chiks. Oh yeah i bought a car, didn't import, found an immaculate example locally

La Bomba replied to La Bomba's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
LMAOO! hahahhahahah. oh shit if i actualy do get an na silvia ill hav to bear the brunt of these jokes 24/7....especialy if i work up the courage to take the thing on a skyline cruise..not sure if il be able to keep up...=( slow and steady wins the race -
can't find it anywhere? does anyone have an idea of the 0-100 time? thanks
-
is ur cefiro 8.5k nego :O:O!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually prefer your car to the Silvia to be honest.... yours has already been nicely modded with a bodykit, rims. hmmm only problem is your car is a turbo...hence I can't drive it on P plates. \ How many kilometres does ur car have on it and did u improt it from Japanland?

ohhhh yes good point. Well i got my dad to ring the lady up... anyway my dad said my son is looking to buy this car nissan silvia and has 5 grand to spend...and its possible we may be able to help out a little bit. She said the absolute lowest she'd go is $7,000, and that she is in no hurry to sell...but it would be nice because she just bought a 350z. This is the rundown: $7000 with renewed years worth of rego + greenslip and lower without these two things. Now....she said it was imported in 2000 through Ford Kia or something... for $20,000. So was that a high price for silvia s13 in 2000? Anyway she said it has never been in any acidents. Aside from a tree branch fallling on the bonnet, which resulted in bonnet being replaced. How does that sound Mr.Eps?

Hahahahahhaha!!! lol! well i am just about to ring the owners of the car, and make them an offer. i am going to say $5,000 cash, take it or leave it. do you reckon you could write me a transcript of what to say on the phone mr.eps? hahahaha. i need to somehow convince them the car is not worth what they are saying without making them upset. ? because thing is im going to have to drive 3 hours there 3 hours back so if they dnt acept the offer i might as well save $50 pe-troll money

Lady Owner Point- Yeah you do have a point about the lady owner....although I was just hoping she would of been one of those middle-aged women who absolutely baby their car.....cause it does have log books. However i often look too much on the brightside....as you said she could of been a completely shit owner who failed to take care of it properly. However just from looking at it it looks damn clean. However there are no pics of the engine bay, or direct pics of the front end....which i find suspicious. Pulsar- I actually do like these cars, only reason I haven't considered a Pulsar is because of front wheel drive. My current car i drive is Corolla 6A-FE engine with 61 KW when new. Seeing as its 20 years old it would probably have a lot less obviously. I do enjoy driving it...mainly because its manual, but the whole front-wheel drive concept turns me off. Silvia- Its rego expires in July, which is a prime point I was going to bring up to the owner...also the fact that Silvia Automatics are usually sub-5k. I'd say look because its in good condition and it has sentimental value to you...i'll give you 6k for it. The owner says "yes i accept the offer". La Bomba thinks ohhh excellent, now i can use the 2k i saved due to excellent negotiation to convert to manual. If owner doesnt accept. I say 6.5k. thats my final offer....this is the most you'll get for this car. Although i do feel like i'm ripping myself off even offering 6k for it.....simply because its auto. Non of the less it would be nice being seen in an import/saying i own a performance import I just am trying to jump on this opportunity because i love the look of S13's...and for once ive found one looking to be in good condition.
-
i wasn't sure what section to put it in? any mod viewing can shift thread to apropriate section plz? Well i always have had a soft spot for S13's, except i dont like auto's. The only reason I'm considering this Silvia auto one is because it looks to be in excellent condition, + the lady owner point is optimal as it hasn't been flogged/drifted. Dad is more enthusiastic about going to inspect it cause he wants me to have a car that doesnt stand out to the cops to much. and he's reluctant to import because of "you dont know what the condition of the car is goign to be like"....although i have explained about the auction grading process he refuses to listen. I might just use the Silvia as a stock standard P-Plate car and until i get a full-time job car. Cheap on fuel, nice basic sports car, easier on insurance, only downfall= AUTO.

Okay so I am going to be driving 3 hours on sunday, to inspect a 1992 SR20DE S13 Nissan Silvia Automatic Transmission (I really would prefer a manual to be honest but oh well). It looks to be in excellent condition however the owner is asking $8,000. Just wondering what I should look for when I inspect, also what price should I try bargain them down too? Because honestly an s13 Silvia isn't worth $8,000. especially in automatic form. Also if i do happen to buy this car.....just wondering if anyone knows what type of bodykit this is? (not the car im buying haha.. unfortunately but the bodykit id plan to put on).

This guy sounds suspicious.........bumming a ride to a car meet? are you sure you are not out to carjack someones r-34 and dump the owner in some twisty backroads? :|. use public transport to get to a car-meet. :|

Their was a segment on ACA or Today Tonight about hoons a while ago, and its funny because the video was of a touge battle in Japan. Media make up so much bullshit, for once they actually sourced a video of a hoon acting like a dickhead, but then again had to add on some footage that is so old e.g crazy carlo drifting (they forget to add he did it on a closed road). They just do these segments because they want no one driving performance cars, and are trying to get performance cars being linked to hoons when its only a small minority. Why not make a segment about the true car enthusiasts with a r34 gtr N1 or vspecII for example, simply because the majority of the population will not give a shit, but the majority of population does give a shit wen they see hoons drifting, hence why the media publisises that.
-
funny how they use the typical crazy carlo drift from a few years ago they just do it to rev the cops up so they pick on people with nice cars. i feel like slapping that woman across the head.
-
lucky she wasn't in that charade then, she would of got crumpled in half.
-
Poor skyline . It looks like it was a daihatsu charade hit you (judging by the car on the tow truck). It always seems to be daihatsu charades in accidents....why is it that shitboxes always destroy nice cars.

Want To Go For A Ride In A 500kw Drift Australia Car?
La Bomba replied to Majanal's topic in New South Wales
so that means we can't drive the car ourselves? -
LMAOOO. black is worth the extra money, i believe u get that lil bit extra street cred. and of course the ability to fap to the latest pics of ur car haha. but i dont have the extra money to buy a japanese luxury colour. ahhh oh well! Xalmon sorry it wasnt shannons it was just car insurance.....!!! the rip-off merchents. that was for full comprehensive. ohh i thought with 3rd party if ur car got stolen that was the end of it and they didnt give u the value of the car in money?
-
Yeah you have a good point, well I'll go for white then, mainly because i like the colour and it will MINIMISE costs haha =D. I like the gunmetal grey colour but think I may get a little sick of it with time. BUDGET -Well I am not too sure of the budget yet mainly because my Dad is going to help me pay... -so with Rego, Compliance, all those import fees and broker...I'd be hoping for under $18,000. -$15,000 would be optimum because I am going to get absolutely killed with insurance. Shannons quoted me $4000 D: D: So i have to get a part-time job while going to uni to eventualy pay it off.
