  1. This... ..I almost spat my coffee out when I read this!! So funny...well said!
  2. So I went and checked the weight...1589kg. I was close .
  3. Hey Dion! Here's what we need to do! Meet up for a comparo. Find a 'private road' and line up for a test!! My 300 stag feels plenty healthy so it should give you a reasonable benchmark. It's well serviced by City Nissan Takapuna and goes better than the SV6 I had before. If it's close then your ok. They probably weight about the same...haven't checked lately but I think mine's about 1550kg. You should have a slight edge if all is well.
  4. During a nice 800km cruise up north. No wife and kids just me and the sounds..loud!! Oh and good times thru the 25km of switchbacks that is 'The Kauri forest"

  6. Hi Blade, I came across your thread regarding the shocks on a Nissan Stagea.

I own a Nissan Stagea 2002 Rs250 (M35) and my front left shock needs replacement. The price I have been quoted for a single shock is $491+GST..too expensive for me.

If you have info on any aftermarket shocks I can use please txt 021-2335331 and I will call u back. Thanks much for your help. -...

  7. Same happened to mine when I first got it. Sprayed some contact cleaner in it and all was good, seems that they just get dirty with dust and stuff. Try that, if not dismantle and clean.
  8. Got mine in May 2010 with 100k on the clock, now has 115k on it. No problems to date and I'm loving it. .
  9. Just awesome mate!! That is one beautiful car. I'd be so stoked having that in the garage! ....... .
  10. 115,000km just clicked over today. No major problems so far. Regularly serviced and driven daily!
  11. I only use 98 now and it runs well. I've used 95 a couple of times lately, when out of town, but only as little as possible till I get more 98. I used 95 for the first few months I had the car and after finding this site and testing economy and performance of the two grades I've concluded 98 gives the best results. Most of my driving is around town and i consistantly get around 12.0L / 100km or 8.3km / L (in-dash computer) on 98. I've checked the in-dash fiqures against pump readings and it's pretty accurate. These readings get considerably better out on the open road. Oh and my engine is the same as yours just a little bigger and with the 5 speed auto.
  12. What about these guy's. http://www.cvt.co.nz/index.htm Might be worth having a chat to.
  13. There are several good shops over here on the shore, two I have spoken to about my rwd 300 recently and both claim to have fitted units before. All I need to tow is a large trailer with either two road bikes or three dirt bikes + gear. Both confirmed that this would be no problem so I'll be getting one fitted at some point soon. "A1 Exhaust & Towbar" or "North Shore Towbars" here on the shore in NZ would be the dudes to call for specs and limits.
