reconnected the stereo and the screen wasnt turning on with the factory headunit but all power was running for a brief amount of time including the accessorys in the boot. then as i went to put it back in everything stopped working, went to a auto elec round the corner and i was told that my factory unit is faulty

car i'm going to try and flush mount it on is a 96' series II R33 gts-25t

purchased a drift digital iridium series rpm gauge just wondering how to/best ways to go on flush mounting this gauge? and will it fit straight into my old rpm gauge this one is 85mm/33/8" as it states on the box

purchased a drift iridium series digital rpm gauge, just wondering the legality's on it and where to connect the components too want to make sure the fuzz dont hassle me about it

i currently own a series 2 96' 33 gts 25t and cannot find the gross vehicle mass for my car can somebody please help i need it before i go to register my car

damn... love that east bear gtr wing just need to find a set of nice LED tail lights seen a few on different sites but they all have a chrome face looking for a silver face to match my car unless i can find one in basecoat or if thats not a option just paint it myself any ideas people?

hey guys, thanks to the handy help of members off the site just passed a vehicle inspection today after 5 months of my car on being on defect its finally off was thinking about tricking out my car as a little present when my tax return arrives in the next few days or so... looking at a GTR rear wing and some nice LED tail lights not some cheap e-bay shit anybody know my best best any links/advice on where to purchase any of these would be much appreciated i currently own a 96' series 2 33 gts-25t if that makes any difference cheers chris

just got back and car is soo much quieter thankyou soo much i asked the guy when he put the old restictor in to do that but he did the 30mm hole instead

unfortunately that's not another option, purchased the car with a aftermarket exhaust which was sold some time ago and looking for a quick fix... is there something i might be able to insert into the muffler or something along the lines?

unfortunately not =[ dont know anyone with a import or a silencer to fit the huge exhaust the restrictor has quietened it down a bit but i dont think enough need a kinda quick fix as its booked in for 3:30 tomorrow any other ideas sorry for the trouble... cheers chris

hey have my second defect inspection tomorrow not sure if i will pass, not too long ago purchased a 5" HKS hi power catback exhaust system for a series 2 R33 gts-25t went straight in un restricted and @ 3,300 rpm it read at 97db but on the side i was only revving it roughly at 3k had a 1-2mm peice of sheet metal with a 30mm hole or so drilled into it so it can restrict the flow... now the exhaust seems a bit loud and it has to be 90db at 3,300rpm any ideas on a quick silence fix i been told to chuck a piece of chicken wire inside? any ideas much appreciated

am i going to have to remove the whole headunit just to find the end of the ground wire wherever its connected? or is there usually a place somewere on the car where its connected to... i've checked the towers and i cant find it on there

just wondering where i might be able to find the ground wire for the stock headunit having power problems with it the clock is illuminating but the 6 stacker player and the dvd player in the boot isn't working it happened some time ago when i went over a bump been told to check the ground wire... also thinking the power wire may be another problem if that's not the case can somebody please give me some info on where to find both those wires cheers chris

hey new to the site here, just registered yesterday having some problems with my headunit that comes factory with the car i own a series 2 R33 gts-25t.. checked the fuse dosent seem to be the problem it stopped working quite some time ago im pretty sure it happened when i went over a bump or something any help will be appreciated cheers chris
