Hey guys I just got a job up on a mines and my current job I get a company car so I'm looking for daily just a cheap bunky for now let me know what you got
-
Far out that is def built well good to see they are strong if that was a china spec it would be stuffed
-
Just to confirm... This is the correct T67? I.e. the one Simon etc have.
Correct
-
The t67 is oil cooled only so not as many lines are required
-
use bcpr6e they are gapped at .8 and have a better heat range you may struggle to get bcpr6e but you can get the bcpr6e-11 and regap to .8 plenty of this info in general maintenance

any thoughts of the TD06SL2 w/ Garrett 60-1. Same 11 blade (trust spec) rear wheel and 10cm housing, but with a comp wheel is more like the size of 25g. 3 inch inlet, and the comp housing dosent look to be as big as the t67, so should be able to low mount on standard manifold without too many problems. if the 20g falls short of 280rwk + on 98 (waiting for jez or artz
), shorely the bigger
comp wheel could get it around the 300 mark. Or would it
be too laggy (mismatched) and not worthwhile.

Yeah I'm keen to find out as in WA we only have 98 and I would love to crack the 300 mark

Yes the 5w50 is fine and so is the 10w60
The reason I went for the 5w50 was price and the fact that it doesn't get track work. However 5w50 is fine for track also. Go to www.unitedoil.net.au and use the contact us form and ash will reply

Oh how I wish Nissan didn't make the rb25 side feeds top feeds always seem so much damn cheaper
-
Yeah but a 14mm spacer will make it hit engine mounts now I think about it
-
thats the wheel sizes, physical housing sizes lol....
the t67 has a tiny little exhaust housing and a giant compressor housing. do the maths.........
Sorry I didn't realize that's not what you meant but yeah I get it now
-
So how come people are able to fit a 35r low mount but a t67 they can't
-
Just quickly a gt35/82 Vs t67 which is bigger in overall size just curious is all
-
Do you have to change stock intake if you go highmount
-
I wonder what a td06sl2 would pull on avgas on a rb25 I can get hold of avgas very easily for track work
-
any body heard from jez lately about his drifter and if there are any changes
-
contact ash username kingscorp he works for united oil he will tell you where to get some from
-
I'm not sure I get it straight from united oil where you located
-
To be honest never checked at those speeds I'll let you know

changed to the united oil united 1 5w50 from ash(kingscorp) It's fully synth and so far it has been great I now have good oil pressure on cold starts (70psi approx) and on idle it now is about 40psi instead of 25. So far I highly rate this oil and for half the price of royal purple etc I don't think I'll ever look back. If ash is still doing a bulk deal I will buying in bulk in the very near future.
Once again thanks ash

Stale Fuel
in Forced Induction Performance

hey guys i have been away in thailand for the last 6-7 weeks and have not started my car since about 8 weeks (rb25det with microtech and stock turbo. the fuel has been in the car for about a month or 2 before i went away as car is unreg and i only just start her and let it idle for a while until i can get her all sorted for the road. it runs rich so it normaly has that strong fuel smell however today when i started it it didnt have that strong fuel smell instead it smelt a little sweeter if you know what i mean. it also seemed to warm up a hell of alot quicker than i can remember. i maybe just being paronoid but could this be stale fuel.
