That's why it's so confusing and dori for your info yes I did read it it's just all confusing
-
Sorry my bad mind blank I forgot the t67 was a 25g turbine
-
Has anyone put a tdo6 25g on a rb25
-
What would be better gate welded to ex manifold or ex housing on turbo
-
luv psi the controller should be fine i think its more of a gate issue. i think it made my turbo laggy because i only had the 7 pound spring so the controller was holding back 11 psi its to much. try and get your gate as close as possible to boost pressure then use the controller to fine tune. how did you go with the manifold
Thanks BSA I just rather not fork out for a ebc I have not got the manifold done yet as still getting car rego with rb25 first. What's your thoughts on getting the manifold ceramic coated
-
are you still having troubles with the turbotech jez as i have one sitting in my shed and im on a bit of a tight budget also. and dont really want to fork out for a ebc if a turbotech is going to do the job
-
Yeah I'm hoping for the same figure on 98 with around 18- 20psi
-
Nice figure considering it's still no controller no VCT and a gate that is to small
-
I was on my phone and didn't realize it it was at 12 psi
this may sound like a dumb question but how do i read that dyno chart JEZ i have only seen the dyno dynamics ones which seem easier to read i gather the very top line is boost but its still a tad confusing
-
Ok let know how you go
-
Yeah dam as I want to get as close as possible to the 300kw mark but I'd be happy with anywhere between 250 and 300 but 300 would be nice lol
Is he using a eBay turbo manifold
-
And what would be the fix there jez as I'm going to be running turbotech also
-
Im using a oil from one of our WA members who works for united oil. He uses it his race car and I have not had a problem with it it's a 5w50 and I have a he'll of alot better pressure at oil and has not broken down like my mibil1 did in about 1000kms
-
Yeah RPM not speed
-
Microtechs are not that bad if you font want all the above features I run one with mo problems at all I have launch control( 2 step) air temp ignition timing and fuel which is all I really need for street if I was doing track work I'd prob use something different

Road tune haha
-
Make sure you let me know as I'm going the 20g next year on my rb25 with injectors and aftermarket ecu hoping to get close to 300kw
-
What I was talking about was hot side only of course he needs the supporting Mods but I was talking to aeqel not the OP
-
That's really not too bad. It would definitely make it competitive pricewise if you're going to keep the standard exhaust manifold.
+1 to what R31Nismoid said.
If you're willing to spend some cash then a lot of doors
Open
All in all without including injectors and afm and aftermarket ecu a kando setup will cost just over 1k with the right contacts
-
Looking good jez imagine 20psi
Is that a rb20 or rb25
-
Just out of curiousity why are the t67 only oil cooled and not water cooled
-
Nah no bolt on kando turbos all need external gate and v band dump
-
And fir roughly 750 delivered I'm not complaining
