just did a few quotes for insurance on 33 gtrs that people may find interesting. with no mods or anything and this is for my age and suburb and same excess raised to $1725 etc. R33 GTR '95 insured for 18700 for 1074 a year. R33 GTR '95 VSPEC insured for 22100 for 1187 a year. R33 GTR '96 insured for 19050 for 1122 a year. R33 GTR '96 VSPEC insured for 24050 for 1291 a year. R33 GTR '98 insured for 21650 for 1248 a year. R33 GTR '98 VSPEC insured for 27800 for 1455 a year. amazing how the vspec changes so much when in the 33s in series 1 and 2 it makes no difference in price and im pretty sure it just has tighter but still not heaps good coils and a few aesthetic things. also even difference between series 1 2 and 3 is pretty big considering its just a year model and its condition that varies the price.

its funny someone mentioned about a 1500 price drop on tyres, my friend was selling his comodore to a dealer for trade in, lowest price on carsales was 6k, dealer offered him 2500k and he got finance through the dealer, then he said ok ill pick up my 22k car at the end of the week and in that time reversed into something and broke the plastic on a rear tail light and a SMALL scratch next to that. the trade in was then reduced to 1500k. not only is the car now worth 10k but the dealer thought the need to not only make thousands on interest and the resale of his car but just to f**k him some more they made a 50 dollar second hand tail light and a 10 dollar touch up pen turn into a grand. i bought my 88 camry 4 years ago for 3700 FROM A DEALER and sold it this year for 2500. i HATE dealers and never go into car yards, just from personal experiences. btw cracker of a thread, very entertaining.

nah did see any moisture man, the headlights were sweet but didnt check rear. misus only gave me 30 mins to go over it as she needed to go to work so didnt even get a drive :(!!! yeah it could of just been like a matte. was just in a carpark so hard to see. it looked so good i doubt that itd be a problem. considering bonnet and boot had it. i hope its still available by the time im ready to buy!! pretty keen!!!

Man that thing was clean!!! The interior was as good as ants. The engine bay had no peeling on the plenum and every hose felt squishy and brand new. Was in heaps better nick then my car! Pretty sure he'd take 16 for it too. There was one thing though. The under side of the boot was darker then the outside paint colour. It wasn't black but a darker blue? Not sure, Defs worth a relook at when I'm ready with ant dawg
