Spotted a beautiful WHITE 33 GTR VSPEC on Eastern Fwy, then middleborough road through box hill last night about 11pm. Had bronze TE's I think and plates were XFF*** something can''t remember. had street semis too - ku36 perhaps? one of the nicest 33's I've seen around.
  3. *also forgot to add - GKTECH Dump Pipe stock steering wheel, front and rear bars, seat, suspension and wheels/tyres included.
  4. thanks for the kind words guys would love to keep it, but interstate move has priority at the moment, whoever picks this up won't be disappointed.
  5. You are correct. The car is standard Pearl White AUDM Paint from factory, but the rear bar and pods are in the Japanese White which is a little off a different tinge to the Australian factory paint. The JDM bar and JDM pods are in the original Jap colour hence the difference. They haven't been sprayed because it's not that noticeable and was an unnecessary expense as I just put them on the car and now I'm selling. Cheers.
  6. Hi guys, Looking to sell my Series 2 1999 S14a as I'm moving interstate for good in a couple of months and need the money for the move. Will sadly be downgrading to a lesser vehicle for work, so my beloved S14 will be heading to a new home. I've got the entire MOD LIST below as well as some dot point info about the car. If you require any further info do not hesitate to PM me or call the number in this listing; happy to chat and answer any questions you may have. This car is honestly immaculate. It's rare to find an S14, let alone any S Chassis car in Victoria that isn't thrashed/crashed/ticking time bomb. In most cases you see these cars cheaply modded with poor supporting mods only leading to headaches, one of the things I wanted to avoid when buying my S14. After months of searching and looking at about 8 exampled of a Kouki S14 and not being satisfied, I came across this car and after a test drive/compression test and a check up I bought it the next day. It drives awesomely, looks brilliant, maintains good driver comfort, is in immaculate condition and has great potential for track/drift driving too. This car has been drifted at Winton once without any issues at all and is the perfect example of a reliable, well maintained S14. The perfect street car/track combination. Rego until July 2012 No defects RWC is easy to obtain; however I do not have time to organise this. Simply raise the car up with stock wheels and it won't be an issue, easily pass rwc for someone mechanically minded. Engine is super healthy, fires up as normal every time and drives excellently. General Info - 190,xxx kms - 5 Speed Manual - Three owners (I am third owner since new) - First owner completely highway driven hence high kms,. - Second owner drove it 8,000km in four years – was a weekend car. - Stock parts included with sale (ADM front and rear bumper ect.) - One of the cleanest S14's you'll see - Owned since March 2011 - Never defected or had issues with police - Spent months looking for the right S14 and finally decided on this one, compression test showed 140psi across all cylinders. Starts and drives perfectly. - Engine is immaculate - Interior looks brand new - Having to sell due to moving interstate - Perfect street car set up for drift/track days too. - All parts are less than a year old - All parts bought brand new except JDM Aero Kit – secondhand from J-Imports Mod List Suspension/Wheels - BC Racing BR Coilovers - Selby Front Sway Bar - Selby Rear Sway Bar - Cusco Front Strut Bar - Cusco Rear Strut Bar - Just Jap Rear Camber Kit - CST Hyper Zero 1 Wheels (17x9 +30 and 17x9.5 +15) with tyres (Federal Evo 205/45 95% new on front and Zeta 215/45 60% on rear) Exterior - JDM Kouki Front Bar - JDM Kouki Front Grill - JDM Kouki Rear Bar - JDM Kouki Rear Pods - JDM Kouki Rear Wing - Luxury-spec sideskirts Interior - Bride Gias Low Max Carbon Seat (Genuine!!!) (Near new) - Works Bell Boss Kit - Genuine Takata 4 Point Harness - Nardi Classic Steering Wheel - Swoosh Gauges (Oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, turbo) - GReddy Profec B II Boost Controller - Nismo Leather Shift Knob - Drift Button - Alpine XDA-001 Head Unit - Alpine Type G Front Splits Engine/Drivetrain - Apexi PowerFC ECU (tuned to 182rwkw on 16psi) - Buddy Club Pro Spec III Exhaust - Decat (EPA compliant stock exhaust with brand new CAT included) - Apexi Pod Filter Intake (stock airbox/snorkel included) - Locked Diff Pictures (will upload more if requested) Price $14,000 with rego and ALL parts above - as is! OR $11,000 with rego, but with Bride & Wheels removed Prices are negotiable, however it is priced to sell. Contact via PM or mobile (0411 017 104 - Luke)
  7. It's in QLD, but has VIC plates still? I'm from melbourne and very keen. I have an S14a to swap. you have PM.
  8. Yeah mate we have TMU - Traffic Management Unit and they have offshoot operation units who target street racing/modified cars. In the end, they tend to just sit at known drift spots/areas where car meets are held, rock up and defect people. TMU are known to check the net for car meet locations then turn up and threaten defects if people don't leave and go home. It's pretty f**ked here dude, normal cops aren't too bad, but there are TMU everywhere now and they won't let you get away with anything.
  9. yeah cool cool, thought that would be the case. for the beginning of my relocation chances are I'll just drive as is no permits until I get the time or energy to get it sorted. Might be a good idea as like you said it shows your trying to do the right thing. thanks for all the info guys, has helped me dramatically. I know ride height will be an issue no matter what or where I go haha, so I can cop that. Winding coils all the way down before track next weekend, removing collar for moar lows too.
  10. hahaha everyone in WA seems to say this, but in all honesty man the nightlife in melbourne isn't that great. I DJ at a fair few clubs over in Perth and back home and the scene in WA is awesome, its getting bigger and bigger and you'd be suprised how well it compares to the east coast. Common misconception about Melbourne haha, too many clubs competing for your attention so there may be more choice but most places are empty, whereas Perth; less choice, but more packed clubs. Plus you've got a good bass scene over there, shits on Melbournes indie kids!

Yep the Black one was originally the owners and he sold it to his 2IC and bought the new 2011 model recently. Both have Amuse exhausts - worth something ridiculous like $12,000 a piece and apparently it took a lot of negotiating to get Amuse to send them over as they prefer to supply and fit the exhaust to GTR's themselves and don't want random local shops doing it overseas haha baller shit.
  12. Hey guys, Currently in Victoria, but making the move to Perth shortly for Uni/GF/Music pursuits and for a bit of a change, sick of melbourne life, bring on the warm weather and weekend cruising the stats... 13. Thanks for all the help so far guys, really appreciate it. Will have to come to a meet once I'm over and say hello! It's difficult moving into a new road environment, just want to be worded up on whats what so I know what I'm getting myself into haha. As bad as it may sound for you all, from what I understand from reading your replies is that WA is still heaps more lenient than VIC. Here, its now near impossible to get a roadworthy with any aftermarket bits in and in most cases, when defected thats what it takes to pass. I have no worries about heading to the pits with my car in "standard" form. IE no bride/raised/wheels off/exhaust off. In terms of permits - is it really nessecary to go through the hassle of getting permits if you can get defected even if you have them? I suspect with my ride height and fitment I'll attractive unwanted cop attention, but if I'm going to get reeemed no lube, permits or not, i might as well save myself the hassle/money of forking out for permits. Would only need to get permits for coilovers/seat/ecu I think according to what are "permit requiring mods". Probably not worth it. Can you get done for aggressive wheel fitment? any coppers hate on "wheels protruding outside the guards?" I hear that far too often in VIC
  14. Hi All, My name's Luke, currently driving a 1999 S14a around Melbourne, doing my best to avoid defects and cop trouble. Some of you may have heard of our new hoon laws which without going in to too much detail - effectively mean driving an import and doing anything wrong, whether intetional or not will land your car in an impound lot at the very least. It's quite a sad time we live in, luckily i'm moving to WA soon! Although I've read some troubling things regarding modified rides in WA... Couple of quick questions - I've spoken to WA Transport and transferring rego interstate will be no issue at all, already sorted WA license too and all is looking fine, its more or less how you guys receive and clear defects that I haven't been able to get any clear info on from WA Transport or online. Hoping some of you locals can assist firstly, if defected is it just a matter of fixing the things listed and going to the pits to have these things checked over? OR do they check your entire car as well as the things needing fixing, IE: is it just as big a process as getting a Roadworthy? secondly, If I get a defect for say, height, running wide wheels (currently running aggresive stance), bride seat and exhaust being too loud (is there any rules on exhaust volume like in VIC?) do I just need to change these things over and go get them ticked off? or do I need to prepare my entire car for a check over/full inspection? Also, can any one explain the mod-plate/permit situation to me, it was unclear when explained on the phone by WA Transport and their website is rather misleading and is a pretty vague too. thanks guys, any help would be great! Hopefully meet some of you once I'm over in a few months. Keen to get involved in the local drift scene and attend some track days and meets, going to be mad lonely haha. cheers.
  15. I've been told about the picture issue from a number of mechanics who've been informed of this change by Vicroads. Apparently its coming in on September 1. No official word yet, so until then yes it is hear say and speculation, but it seems to be in existence to stamp out dodgy roadworthies. That being said, theres strong inconsistency between different workshops. I've never asked for a dodgy or chased one, but one shop wouldn't give me a rwc because I had no guard liner and had coilovers, whereas they were fine with HID's - which I know to be illegal. However another workshop were fine with no guard liner and coilovers, but told me to change HID's to pass RWC. generally the smaller workshops are more lenient, especially with modifications, as long as everything else ticks off as safe then having coilovers and arms aren't an issue. Then you have other places, larger shops and businesses like Kmart Tyre n Auto ect who won't let anything get past RWC if its not 100% standard. And just because something may be ADR approved does not nessecarily make it RWC approved, two different sets of rules, neither of which are binding on each other. It's a big grey area and rather than cracking down on dodgy's with photographic proof, it would serve a better purpose to make guidlines of what is and what isn't roadworthy more obvious and clear so at least then, theres some transparency and cohesion with workshops all providing the same service.
  16. can anyone shed any light on the new roadworthy laws? having pictures taken with wheels off when getting a roadworthy? I've heard pictures of all suspension parts and engine bay ect are taken. All things like adjustable arms, coilovers ect do not meet RWC requirements and as such you won't be able to get one. accordingly - this means cars must be 100% stock to pass a RWC? its' game over.
  17. You may want to consider a bigger price drop mate? XD9 and all other Work Emotion 1PC can be bought brand new in boxes landed to Aus from Japan through Streeter for under $1.5k. not to mention they're pretty wack sizings for any nissan really... Even locally brand new you can purchase cheaper. Just a heads up!
