  1. I have driven from adelaide to sydney, think I only had to fill up once without 98RON, and even then it was 95RON, wasn't too bad. As for stone chips, I attached some mesh cloth (kinda like shadecloth) to the front of the car, didn't look too good but it certainly did the job...... and didn't scratch the paint either. Also stopped every now and then to clean the bugs out of the grill/ducts etc. just watch out for the rozzers on the Hay Plain, patrol car was travelling in opposite direction to me but once they saw the 'line they did a u turn, chased me and pulled me over, for no reason.
  2. big thanks to richard and the honda crew for putting on this event
  3. I thought it was ok, although too much repeated from last year - i.e. same cars and even those flirt models performed the same routine!!! some nice R34's though.

  8. no one has mentioned Michelin's yet?? ..... I have Michelin MXF Sport on my R33 and they seem like a good tyre. Took them to Wakefield Park and was very happy with their grip levels and predictability. I think they're around the same price as S03's, maybe a bit more.
  9. Yeah, have heard that about Teins also. I've seen the Hyper D's for around $3k I think on Perfectrun...........any other ideas where to get them?
  10. Folks, Any suggestions on the best springs / shocks for R33 GTS-t?? Keen on lowering my car and improved performance for future track days. I've used King springs before - they seem OK, but I'm interested to hear what other people are using. Also, any info. on good tyre/suspension workshops in Sydney would be appreciated. JR
  11. Yep, would highly recommend the Apexi. Sounds sweet, and easy to maintain, just need to buy it with a bracket specially made for the R33 - makes it easier to fit.
