  1. Hey guys need to replace my rear drive shaft center bearing on my s1 rs4 stag but having trouble locating part number or generic code of if they are the same as any other nissan any one out there know or any know where i could get one in s.a. cheers jase

  3. Yep your right measured up rotors today 280mm so will get a set of slotted rotors and use the r32 4 pots i got sitting here
  4. Meh the lights are just an excuse for a cruise and really do we need an excuse? hopefully all being good brake upgrade and shift kit should all be sorted by friday night cant wait
  5. well busy week ahead and busy week end just gone stealth fmic plumbed up 2Hrs with modifications to make it sit lower nismo front bar replaced 7Hrs trimming fit trimming fit sand ect all done now looks sweet will post up pics. this week 33 front brake conversion one night after work and friday of to mv automatics for shift kit friday night stag cruise. Gcg high flow sat in cupboard so just need injectors pump and comp now hmmm looks like xmas prezzies for the missus seems shes paying for the shift kit that should keep her all happy while the 25/30 gets built
  6. so some searching has not helped found a listing for wgnc34 rb25det rotors as 280mm but straight under it a listing for wg(n)c34 rb25det rotors at 290mm so any one know what the (N) denotes model wise think i should just go out and take wheel off and measure rotors but its cold and late
  7. hmmmm so can any one confirm the size of s1 stag rotors if they are the same size as 32gtst rotors i will prob chuck these gtst rotors and calipers on at least there 4 pots cheers

Hey guys just going through our shed and ive turned up a set of 32 gtst calipers 4 pots and rotors so hmmm front brake conversion questions 1) is there a diff between r32 gtst calipers and r33 gtst callipers? 2) and diff between 33 and 32 rotors my memory is not that good think 32 are like 280mm or something not sure about 33 3)would it still be worth the upgrade using the 32 rotors seems there brand new and sitting in the shed any help would be good cheers Rose

Well confirmed it with the boys today unable to get a nistune for s1 stag, s1 r33 all good but stagea runs different wiring plug so can not use the vg30 comp as they do in early 33 to get past tune probs oh well looks like im going down the old microtec road. wired enough of them in by now should be able to do with my eyes shut but really didnt want hassle, prob best in long run with engine set up ideas on the board for the future

  14. yeah new wheels on there all balanced also had two other sets on there all did it as well

Well been chasing this same vibration problem now for a couple of weeks so far replaced front cv joints, wheel alignment, then today replaced front drive shaft from transfer case (with a GTR one) coz removed old one and def felt notchy and guess what still getting vibration ???????? what next rear drive shaft any one had trouble with these seems to bo a cv joint in them as well as uni joints cheers rose
  17. yeah above is correct, apparently there was a prob with autos but think that is also sorted out now but does not really matter as will be running a MV autos shift kit and a manulised auto conversion with b&m shifter same set up as J had in the vl and yeah shaun will be doing tune for me when i get there he is an old mate of Js from years ago when he was in the game (stopped to have family) but both J and i are car nuts so was only matter of time HA HA J could not even leave his work ute standard dam car bug Needs more cleaning up and power b4 any shows maybe next year cheers rose

  19. hey mate had my front right shaft rebuilt today outer cv was absolutley stuffed cost $275 for inner and outer fitted had all others repacked and new boots put on $400 all up including labour cheers
  20. 20 x 9 +35still would look better with small spacer on front say 10mm but im happy funny thing is ride is better than when i had my 19s on
  21. Another quick one for ya FMIC ordered and on its way too then niss tune new turbo and boost
  22. well took us a while but here is a pic car goes in for new cv joints tomorrow and putting rear mid wing on tonight then everything should be sorted and engine mods can commence

  25. hey guys got a really bad shudder in my rs4 drive line shudders under any sort of load any one point me in the direction of any good drive line mechanics to sus this out for me also need cv boots replacing cheers Rose
