Hi John, found it in Braybrook, only 115.000km one owner, body wise needs work mate, heater leaking steering stuffed, same muffler 32 year old. needs lh guard rusty, the lady let it live outside.. coupes are rare.. If it was a sedan probably for parts or resell it. My 11 year old son is in love with it.. wants it for himself.. whatever parts i have im will put into it apart from the heaps of money for the body work this will take years to do.. Cheers Mario.

Fibre glass ones are the go in Japan these days, painting them are a""NO NO"" and they wobble at speeds a bit like Rolf Harris wobble board. I wouldn;t want it on my car... id rather pay up..."" Kidney prices"" Cheers.

The cheapest to recond: a bumper down here is $300.00. They;ve all picked up on this now... anywhere you go now it costs big bickies to recondition anything.. it does pay to put aside a whole car..if you have the room..

How are you mate, agreed there is so many cars in NZ makes your eyes water, but the silly laws here discourage you, a friend of mine had to abandoned a 1600 exactly for that reason..

Any of you guys out there, check out this site Trademe .com.nz there is a 1979 c211 coupe for sale auction ends Dec.3 its a very rusty car it has c211 front and c210 interior its rare but its a JDM. it seems like an intermediate model that found its way to NZ. a bit of history there

My salute to you, never let go what you have in your heart, and thats not only for your cars. My son is 11 and he was at the show yesterday, he went bananas with all those cars there he has every photo. I will always support my little boy in whatever his heart is set upon. Mario.

It was good to see you mate, trust your belief in your heart, not in your mind as the mind is changeable, My dad never saw my vision i was only 16 years old, but i still followed it that was 31 years ago! Cheers Mario.

I broke my nail too! its great to see so many young people to continue our passion. Thanks mate, isnt good all of us there in the same place same time and knowing that other places in the world they do the same we do. I will never forget my dad, and unfortunatly his words hurt me so much, he never believed my vision i was only 16 years old! Keep your true belief in your heart, not in your mind because the mind is changeable. Mario.

Thanks mate, im sure there was a few guys there, look there was many cars that really stood out, its not good to be a judge in an event like that,or any car show, everyone there put so much effort into their machines, and all this costs money.. man!! all you guys there are there for a reason, and we all breathe the same air. as far as im concerned all of you are winners, 90% of you are young and have that passion in your soul and thats what makes you all winners. Cheers, Mario.

It was a big thing in the 70;s in Japan, pollution was the ""Taboo'' Word. The C210 was so sluggish acctually the l24 here wasnt too bad, the cars in Japan were strangled with emmision controls unfortunatly the car companies and Government promoted it to extreme. Mario.

Hi John, its hard to place aface to the forum members, lucky Sunday the weather held up, Saturday was a bummer, someone must of shot that rain dance man for it to stop for the show yesterday. You were right about that'' speck of dust'' it looked horrible Cheers

The c211 incorporated the LSD Diff in April 1980, but in Japan it was an option for the c211, it was used for the turbo model only for that car the c210 did not have one, but im sure the young guys fitted them anyway, it wasn;t factory fitted as they had no turbos. Cheers
-

Cheers
