There was a range of strange cars in the 70;s i wish they had reached our shores, some did though. you might be interested to look at site called TRADEME N.Z you might be surprised to find a violet or 160j there, better still i have seen hr30 coupes there too, some with the l20et, occasionally with the fj20.   6. yes, and they are not as collectable there,Japan.. the earlier C110 is and very expensive too, the Japanese love them. the c210 JDM has fuel injection,I own one. the gtex and the gtes, the gtel had a 2 litre carby and is a slug to drive, it has too much emmission controls. Very true about the 1800 skyline, it had the wagon system fitted with the solid axle, but remember they were rare and only a few had that set up. Malaysia, and Singapore had some of these cars they used them for Taxis. as for the efi fittings nissan fitted them in the last of the 180b...bluebird in japan in 1976, Cheers.
  7. Also i need to add R30;s in kuwait were imported with a carburettor not with Fuel injection, the c211 and 280zx only had efi. also the some of r30 had the H165 Solid axle diff in Kuwait, the gtex had the independant diff.

The first efi that nissan fitted was used on the cedrics in 1973 and if im right in japan they go back as far as the late 60;s EKW WRECKERS in Melbourne had a 1974 2 door coupe ''240''C which which is a cedric in Japan it was a mint green and fully fitted,IT HAD THE EFI SYSTEM, K Jetronic. even had an air purifiyer for the rear passengers when they smoked. it was offered to me for $1.200.00 I had no money at the time, and my friend bought it in Nowra.NSW. as you can tell im not as young as you guys, but believe me ive seen strange things in nissan cars, the 70,s was a great time. Rightly so, did you know there is a c111 model from the c110, it has fuel injection and a 2 litre 6 also it has a rear wiper for a 4 door sedan, and 4 wheel disc drakes, Also some of the c210/c211 came out with leather interior, in australia a good friend of mine owed a wrecker had a 4 cylinder c210 sedan yes"" sedan"" not wagon with leaf springs. it had the 1.8 motor the same as a 180b.   10. C210,s never came out with turbos, c211,s did in japan April 1980, those badges fit on the rear quarter panel.

A true classic, Congratulations beautiful looking car mate, this is what we need to keep here and not end up being thrashed and belted through the gears in Kuwait, enjoy your c210 make sure you get old with it. make sure it doesnt end up there. the saudis dont care about these cars the Kuwait people want them, They source them around the world. Its good to see young kids into these cars, i remember when they were new. the early 1977 c210 skyline compliance plate had "DATSUN 240K COUPE"'stamped on the plate, in early 1978 they changed it to "'DATSUN SKYLINE COUPE'" Some came off the ship without Vin no;s and were registered only with engine nos: how things have changed.   13. Approx: $8.000.00 to $9.500.00 they need to convert it to lhd, but knowing them they will try to barter, and get the best price possible. My suggestion is to keep what you have, and enjoy it and what it appreciate in value. Remember once its gone its gone forever!!

I own 3 of them, one of them a JDM, and hanging on to them. at the time in 1981, $10.750 was a heck of a lot of money, if i asked my dad to chip in he would of shot me!! looking back today well the sad reality comes to foe, Look mate i know how it feels. Unfortunatlly it will hurt for many years to come. These cars in kuwait are worth a fortune, c210/c211 and especially the 240k, also the 280zx series 1 with no "T'' roof. Its seems other there they know what a great cars they are, and look for them all over the world. And will pay big bucks too. Cheers.
  15. Ive sold my fair share of c210/c211 skylines to buyers in kuwait, including several 240k's, and one imaculate 1973 coupe. Never again, i dont like what those cars get put through over there. At least i have photos of them before i sold them, even my garage was over full with parts, 210/211 Parts its all gone there, and now we struggle here and fight among ourselves to find bits here. I was offered to buy a c211 coupe in 1981 it was for sale for $10.750 and had only 14.000km on the clock. it was silver with grey trim, manual efi c2 options, an excecutive driven car from Nissan Australia. Im still kicking myself 29 years later. Cheers.
  16. Hang on to what you have, i own 3 of them, in 2008 i was offered $20.000 for my coupe by a Kuwaite man who came to Melbourne. Thats what shannons have insured my coupe for, with no questions asked. its a JDM Import. He offered $8.000 for my white 4 door sedan and $10.000 For my burgundy 4 door sedan, my cars are restored. Im hoping to get enough posts so i can show them on this site. Cheers

  19. Hi i think i can help you with your fusible link ratings.. ""brown link"" 0.3. ""green link 0.5. ""red link 0.85. ""black link 1.25. Also i would check the voltage regulator, if you still have the old points system, convert to a electronic one this only applies if you have a 50amp alternator, the efi skyline had a 60amp alternator with inbuilt regulator.   20. After market turbo, single su carbie, extractor system, not a bad set up, for turbo charging would go quite well, especially with the L26, It would be nice to see it bought back to original.. though..
  21. Hi Mate, c210's never came out with turbos the c211 did in japan 2ltr, April 1980. also your vin no; on the fire wall starts with KMGC the japanese import on the coupe starts with KHGC, for the coupe this car was a australian delivered car in 1978/1979. Cheers Mario.
