Good question Mate, all i know is the c210 was released in october 1977, and were facelifted in august 1979 to the c211,
They continued up to july 1981, so they made a plenty.
Except in Australia Nissan imported only 30 a month, because it was under a import quota system Nissan decided to import other
models which were cheaper.
The c211 remained mostly in Japan some were scatted around the world, but Japan held most of them.
The Australian Govt: was always protecting the local car market from these type of cars.
can you imagine if Nissan had imported the c211 turbo here what would holden and ford do to match the Japanese cars
thats why they wanted Nissan to drop the GT logo, and Toyota too they and the insurance companies would not have it
so Nissan dispec: their cars and put GL BADGES on them and removed all the top goodies found in the Japanese cars.
When the R30 came it too was dispec: look at the difference of your car compared to the local Australian Delivered R30.
Cheers.
