If you are using airparrot, no because its a mirror, but if you've updated you Mac, the movie will play in tv while you can do whatever else on the laptop, until you tell it to mirror..Like my iPhone, watched delirious on YouTube streamed to the Apple TV, and was receiving messages calls and checking SAu at the same time. I'm actually surprised that apple made such a useful gadget

Pretty much, but if you have a Mac, or "air parrot" installed on your laptop you can wirelessly mirror your laptop to the tv, goes with iPhone and iPads as well. My case movies on my Mac, streamed to tv with sound and all without connecting wires etc..an YouTube and everything else as well.. Considering its only $100 i thought its pretty worth getting. iTunes and all that auto link as well. Bought one for the missus and liked it. So I bought another.. Lol I'm gonna buy another one for downstairs too lol
