Lol Alex, I was about to say the same.. Lol the only reason I know that ethanol burns slower is because I set it in fire at Scott's lol I like fire But yeh the bigger arc/gap makes sense!

Ethanol burns slower.. But wouldn't the same amount of current be traveling through the gap? I mean I could understand how a higher voltage would create a bigger spark, but not just stretching the distAnce between the two elements

This was what I was getting at, clearly he has less power with a misfiring car, than with .8mm gaps on his spark plugs. But now I'm curious with the whole less gap= less power I didn't think it would really make a difference, once the shit combusts it would explode anyway wouldn't it?

Lol what? Clearly you're losing power with the bigger gap. .8mm will get a better connection as there is less room for the spark to blow out
