  2. nah no log books or anything. i know its not the best example of a nismo but it could still be worth something in maybe 10 years
  3. nah nismos were only grey. it got resprayed over there.
  4. just bought an R32 GTR NISMO a few weeks ago and wanna crack an 11 but wondering if i should do it to a car thats getting rare. its doing my head in. should i respray it back to gunmetal grey OR go all out and start changing this to get it going quicker.
  5. mate the guy asked for help i gave him something to check. i didnt say this is the problem go fix it now. it might sound like a far fetched thing to you who only knows about cars from reading things on the internet but to someone who works on cars 6days a week its not that strange. look at yourself taking a dig at someone over the internet, passing judgement and not even having something legitimate to add to the actual topic. some mothers do have em.
  6. nah it would still run normal because the computer would compensate. when i say bent i dont mean bent in half, i mean a slight bow in the butterfly.
  7. for sale $1000 o.n.o enkei 17x9 wheels. white in colour. average gutter rash. not sure of the offset. 4x 255/40R17 bridgestone REO1R tyres. front near new tread rears 75%. tyres around $380 each new. pics of them on my car
  8. as i said im not extremely familiar with the engines, i own a gtr and was going off that. wouldnt it be good to go off a mechanics guess??? even though it is over the internet check my option out first, its the easiest, and costs nothing.
  9. either way i guess swapping my clubsport (paid $13,000 for it) for a basically stock NISMO was a good deal for me then.
  10. im not 100% familiar with RB motors since i am very new to skylines and very rarely work on them but im a mechanic and it sounds like maybe you could have bent one of the butterflys in the intake. seems to add up to me because the lack of blow off valve would have left excess pressure in the intake when you backed off and a bent butterfly would cause lower vaccum pressure which would then in turn affect the wastegate actuators.
  11. any mechanics place. dont go to pedders they over charge and their parts arnt as good as super pro and nolethane. shouldnt cost over $500

  13. i reckon the numbers would be close to half. gotta think about all the dickheads that would have written them off over the past 20 years.
  14. i probly will get it tuned but, im not going to jack up the boost on mine. i dont even have a boost controller. im trying to keep it fairly standard in the hope that maybe 10 or 15 years down the track it might be worth a little bit. i just want to know what people are running, and what people have run that has caused problems.
  15. im not a spastic, i wouldnt boost it without knowing the limits of the turbos them self.
  16. its running 15psi standard without the restrictor. theres is no issues with the air/fuel ratio. i just want to know how much psi people are running on their own rb26s.
  17. if it wasnt standard i would have noted the modifications. the motor is in good condition, its only done 68,000klms. ive checked compression, valve clearances, spring pressure, injector pulse, you name it ive checked it. i want answers like the first one, i was looking for people telling me how much they were running on their RB26's not people telling me what they think i should be running.
  18. wanted to buy: R32 GTR original steering wheel. (if anyone has one and wants an after market wheel i have a brand new leather wrapped one that i want to replace with the original one) R32 GTR NISMO speedo.
  19. yeah ive heard of alot of people trying to pass normal GTR's off as Vspecs. there should be some kind of survey to find out.
  20. how much boost do people think is the max for an RB26DETT??? mines got N1 turbos.
  21. ive driven both and the ford is better for daily driving but the holden is more fun to drive hard. the power feels alot more effortless in the holdens and much better traction but they are ugly as shit. (in my opinion) the ford feels like its struggling higher in the rev range but looks better. i vote holden for driving and ford for cruising.
  22. just after some part numbers for spark plugs that people are using in R32 GTR's. mines basically stock. put the listed plugs in there and its miss firing around 6000rpm. PFR6A-11. BCPR7A were in it and went alright but i would prefer some platinums or iridiums. anyone run PFR7A-11???? the higher heat range should fix it but would like confirmation from someone using them before i spend another $90 on platinum plugs...
