i have a R32 GTR nismo edition and im trying to find out how many there are in australia. if there were only 560 made in 1990 then it must be getting rare by now. if anyones got one post it up here with a few pictures and info. also N1's. there wouldnt be many out of the 228 or whatever it was.

steer clear. i dont care what anyone says, im a mechanic and ive lost count of how many customers fuel tanks ive had to drain because of E10 fuel. some cars it wont cause a problem at all but other cars they will run horrible after a few tanks in a row. if your like your car run premium 98 only.

its all good now. found the problem. after seeing how much everyone doesnt like the stock amp i pulled the car apart and followed the wires and turns out the last owner had already bypassed the amp and ran new wires but didnt remove the old ones. thanks for the brainstorm trigger.

for the diff oils, check with the factory specs some diff clutches are so sensitive that if its not the specific oil they will grab and clunk and whine.

just put a new headunit in my r32 gtr and the rear speakers arnt working, front work fine. do the rear ones run off tthe factory amp??? if so is there a seperate power source for it that needs to be run off the new head unit??? before anyone asks, yes all the speaker wires are correct ive checked them a million times.

does yours have N1 turbos aswell?

just take it to a mechanic. im a mechanic and ive seen too many things go wrong from people doing things in their driveways that they know nothing about.

i can get ahold of the genuine one but im after non-genuine slaves. nissan wanted $160 trade $245 retail. i think ill just overhaul the buggered one thats on it.

are you 100% the N1s are standard? my nismo has the N1s and they look like they have been factory fitted because there are no tool marks or anything as such around the turbo area. im still sitting on the fence about it though. does yours have a nismo speedo???

im after a genuine R32 GTR nismo speedo as mine was swapped over for one with less klms when it was imported. preferably with around 68,000klms as mine was complied a few months ago with 67,000.

what about the power figures, torque and 1/4 mile, 0-100 and all that? all the figures ive found have told me that the 32 GTR is 0.2secs quicker over the 1/4 than the 33 and the same 0-100 and 1/4mile as the 34. anyone got genuine firgures for all the GTR models? did all the 32 nismos come with the 260klm speedo? if so im after one because im pretty sure mine was swapped over for a normal GTR speedo with less klms.

so the rumours that they came with N1 turbos are fulse? did the base model GTRs come with an intercooler aswell? suspension, computer, exhaust the same? im new to skylines, ive driven V8s all my life so any info about it will be great.

should be fine. just check the oil. probly wouldnt hurt to take the rocker cover off and pour a little bit of oil over the cams.

check that all the intake pipes are tight. the air flow meter can get confused and cause it to bog down when theres too much air flowing through it.
