  1. 3800kms on the 2011 Dunlops. Did 1 track day on normal alignment settings and it has killed the tyres. I have since changed the alignment settings to the track setting, I hope this will improve track wear. Nissan quoted $4800 for 4 tyres so it's time for me to use the search function here now...
  2. Would it be okay if they were low paid white-skinned students dominoz?
  3. I don't get badges. Debadge!
  4. I have a set of hardly-used rims with 90% Dunlop 7010s feel free to PM me, I am keen to free up some space at home Cheers.
  5. Very sorry to hear about this alex_c. I will keep my eyes open around here. A timely reminder to us (certainly me) to consider where we store our keys and spare keys at home too.
  6. I will have to pay the insurance excess of up to $800. SGIO have been great I must admit, especially considering insurance is very reasonable at $1600 a year.
  7. Well my new GTR survived 16 days and 570km until being damaged. We left it parked defensively in a quiet carpark for one hour while we had dinner, of course no note left... I hate some things about human nature! Thankfully there are 2011 bumpers in Australia at the moment.
  8. I have dealt with [email protected] and he is very helpful. Back when the exchange rate was around .80c, through TireRack I bought two Michelin PS2s for AUD$1,150 to the door via FedEx. Local tyre shop = $1,100 each. Australian retailer and/or importer pricing is disgusting.
  9. On the day, I watched them thoroughly look over and record two cars before our they did our car and transported it to Perth. The car arrived in Perth very quickly and I will happily use CEVA again.
  10. I would recommend CEVA. They had a number of new Porsches at their Melbourne depot, they take photos of the car and note all damage in front of you when you drop it off.

    2011 Price

A couple of 2010s, delivery kms, driveaway for $160ish at the moment!

    2011 Price

No news on delivery yet. No info on the seats either, the salesmen think the only change is black inserts replacing the red, no Recaro branded seats.

    2011 Price

It will be no more or less "guaranteed" than any other contract I suppose fumgoolie. It was just an offer made to get me to lock in an order early November.

    2011 Price

Northside in Perth. Late February or early March. Hopefully the early order will turn out to be beneficial but even if it doesn't, I think $184 is a fair price for the DBA.

    2011 Price

I have ordered one at $184k.
  16. The price is reasonable for somebody who wants to sell quickly, all the GT-Rs on carsales are priced too high. The only movement I have seen lately was an SA registered 09 which was advertised at $126k and had gone through a few price drops. 44,000kms with some wear showing on the seat side bolsters? Certainly sounds genuine and could be a great buy!
  17. Yes I thought it best I leave that thread alone, and thankfully I am still here I put a deposit down today for a 2011 and managed to agree to a price which makes me feel pretty happy - much the same as current discountnewcars pricing for a 2010. I think the 2011 will be a great car and I am glad I waited until now to buy. I THINK I am better off ordering now because most sources seem to suggest the price is going up. By getting the M3 a few years ago, I have satisfied my urge for a V8 at 8400rpm and can now look forward to the GTR. I just hope the GTR gives a similar feeling of balance, which I think is the best trait of the M3.
  18. Ordering to Nissan Japan goes in late this month for MY11s (according to two Dealer Principals) and dealerships appear keen to lock in orders before this date arrives. I could be wrong but I am getting the feeling that the best time for a good deal on an 11 is now.....
  19. Dan, I don't have 10 posts yet so I can't PM. The Classified Rules here on SAU, http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Cl...ead-t69225.html, include: "8. Your for sale thread must include a valid contact number, name and email address." If g35me had included this information I would have emailed him.
  20. My question was "Can I ask why you are selling?", I do not see why you "take offense at what you are insinuating with your question". Prospective purchases, like myself, are going to ask questions, especially when they see a car being sold after only four months of ownership and when they see a full respray on a young car. Getting defensive just turns people away.
  21. Can I ask why you are selling? A quick search shows that you put a deposit on this car only 4 months ago, and it was seen getting a respray recently.
  22. $195k a reliable source told me today, expect pricing in 1 month.
  23. Thanks for the info, like the rest of you I will follow 2012 pricing closely! $200k doesn't make sense to me, it leaves the GT-R with no genuine price-competitor. Where it sits now it is a genuine alternative for those who would tend to spend $180k on an M3, C63, IS-F or RS5 for example, and I am sure Nissan have poached many buyers from this market. $200k is a bit of a no-mans land, in between those fast saloons but not in 911 territory.
  24. Hi everyone, I am currently researching a switch from an E92 M3 to a GT-R, possibly a used model or perhaps the 2012 when it arrives next year. I have searched around a bit for a summary of changes to the Australian GT-Rs since release but have not had any luck. I understand things like auto headlights, sat nav and iPod integration came in after the initial car was released here. Could anyone direct me to some info on the changes or provide a quick rundown of the changes in each MY of the ADM GT-R? Thanks!
