I am pretty sure the build thread has a video showing him hydraulically forming the merge collector - very cool and dangerous.

Ouch yes. The guy that built it is Dick Johson's engineer/ fabricator from the Ford Sierra Cosworth days. That thread is a great read it also says the only other manifold he thought was marginally sensible was the 6boost.

Full race manifold very nice, but very overpriced. Raw brokerage one nice too, but again expensive. The mass produced design, materials and a couple of hours to tig it in a jig is not very good justification for those ridiculous prices. Just my 2 cents. Bobby in "r34 build" thread had one done from scratch as a 1 off designed and hand built by John Skola for 12k.
