Thinking of buying an r32 or r33 damaged as a project car (im open to other types of cars) but im on a small budget due to being an apprentice. Would be really handy if the running gear (motor, trans etc) works and has been mantained with no major problems. Would also help if the majority of the car was together (exterior panels). Uhhh you got a bit of a typo there, its buzz350 Spotted a fair few sau guys at the cruise, i think i was following nightcrawler down brighton road at the beginning of the cruise.

+1 for willshire hopefully the side wasnt too badly damaged, doing a whole side respray is big $$ being in the trade and whatnot

spotted 34 gtr on anzac highway today around midday ish. was very nice, is the car from a sau member?

if you get it plastic welded , you will probably need it resprayed as by plastic welding there would be a line of where it was broken if you do one side, if you do both sides it will still need to be redone as it leaves leftover plastic and is not colour coded and needs to be sanded down to be all flush again. Just my 5 cents worth on the topic.

Black r32 gtr on black road round 745pm with want3d as the no plate i think looked and sounded tough

silver r32 4 door spotted from sturt road, marion all the way thru to black road @ flagstaff b4 it turned off. had personal plates but i forget what they were (lady was driving it) sounded beasty

thanks guys for all the replys and wisdom. am going to get wheel alignment on weeked and see how she goes ive got 18 X 8's i think (deffs know their 18's) with 235 45 rubber on them so they aint big fk off wheels. my meachanic said " I WILL NEED" camber arms, are there any out there that are decent price for quality?? just want to check pricing just in case the worst happens. Youve probably heard this more times than not I bought myself a r33 s1 gts and have bought some king springs to lower the front end (as rear end was previously lowered when i bought the car) ive been told that if i put the king springs in the skyline it will throw the camber out? is it a simple reallignment or does it involve a camber kit so there is not excessive camber and tyre wear. im doing this on a budget as im only a 1st year apprentice. thanks, buzz.

+1 for the paint shop i get the guys to do it for me at work, use a 2 pac paint 412 basecoat it is with all the hardeners etc but yeah as gimps said go to the paint shop.

just throwing this out there but clay blocking? by meguires. ive used it on my skyline which does leave the surface nice and smooth (like glass) i havent read the polishing and waxing thread butt if you have heard of g3 cutting compound, that might work for ya

i did SGIC with third party, property, fire and theft. its around 700 dollars and i have a r33 gts. (im 16 but im a co-owner with my old man, so thats y it might be a bit cheaper)

drivers side window switch? how much? is it still attached to the plastic mounting to fit in door trim?

Hey all, ive just recently purchased myself a R33 S1 GTS for myself and have decided to join the club. Im an adelaide boy, 2nd year apprentice in panel beating.
