  1. And you said that it would never happen
  2. Hey everyone. Haven't posted in a while and there has been a fair amount of progress on my little piggy. So basically bought "what I thought was a bog stock 25". Turned out it pretty much was except for the Exedy brass button clutch. Decided that it wouldn't stand up to the constant abuse from my shit driving so purchased one of these bad boys. It's an xtreme drift clutch kit minus the flywheel because I wasn't happy with the info that I grabbed from everyone about the lightened flywheel. So decided to get the standard flywheel machined up all nice and pretty. Replaced all exhaust studs, water pump, rear main, both cam seals, crank seal, rocker cover gaskets and washers and put in a gates racing timing belt for an added 37 and a half hp. Everything except the timing belt was genuine and crack priced, but big ups to Steve at Northside Nissan for his help. That guy knows way to much about skyline parts. Had the rocker covers robo washed by a mate and then gave them a lick of hi temp paint to make them look standard but clean ready for pits and then chucked them on. Came up a treat. Very gingerly placed the exhaust manifold on :| and then on went the standard turbo with all the standard lines apart from the drain which I replaced. Then it was time for the magic to happen. Clutch when on with little to no problems which was great then followed by the box. This is the guy that bought Jimmah's Laurel so I think he is entitled to look a little crazy sometimes. In went the donk. Went in surprisingly easy and bolted straight up to the 34 cross member. And as it sits now. It has a new heart, it isn't beating yet but it's in there. /CSB
  3. Keyword being whores. Therefore 4 times as likely to catch some form of disease. Then.....
  4. That is the best thing that I have ever seen
  5. Why don't you just do what I'm doing Rob? After muddy helps me with mine (WHICH ISN'T TO FAR AWAY NOW!!!!!) I can help you with yours. Imagine the satisfaction that you will feel after it is done and you put in the hard work for yourself. And as for the speedo sensor from memory you have to get a 32 gtr one as the standard rb25 sensor that goes into the gear box is electronic or something like that. I could be wrong though
  6. I strongly suggest that you ask the same question on antilag. They might be able to help you out.
  7. You should see how fast I can push it now. I'm a serious contender for the Stawell Gift next year. Oh and it is extreme by the way
  8. I have a 25 in my garage collecting dust at the moment because I'm still waiting on a gearbox. Mostly due to me being lazy and only just going out and getting a proper job but there is literally none around for sale. And when there was I had no money because I was to busy smoking ciggies and drinking export (yes I realise it's cheap but there is only so much you can buy on a centrelink budget)
  9. Bit of an update. Goes way quicker than before.
  10. Me and three others at this stage. It's gonna be on like donkey kong
  11. If that was your first time at the pits with this sticker then don't worry about it mate. I went over the pits 3 times and my car was pretty close to stock but they just kept on picking little niggly things like rear wipers etc etc. It's not technically their job to make our lives hard but if they are having a shit day then it makes them feel better about themselves. I know that if I worked at the pits every man and his dog with a low falcadore and 20 inch chrome rims would never ever passed simply because I'm an arsehole and don't like them. I have no idea about your car but mine is a yellow sticker attracter. And that's the way that I want it. (not attracting yellow stickers but you get the idea) As for the pod filter I took a nice trip down to bunnings and spent about $25 on some 5mm ally bar. Drilled some holes in it and then bent it so it fitted into the holes for the pod->afm and then where there used to be the stock air box. I made sure there was two mounting points for the ally bar and it felt sturdy when you grabbed it. It's unfortunate that we all seem to get yellow stickers and "harrassed" by the police but that's the way it is and I don't see it changing any time soon unless someone decides to blow up the ACA and Today Tonight studios. My 2c Billy and if you need any help and live NOR then I'm more than happy to give you a hand. Send me a PM and I'll give you my number so we can have super sexy pit preparation time. Mitch
  12. The awkward moment when I'm from there too. Unsure of correct usage of there and too so please leave me be grammar nazi's
  13. It's a long way out of the way and almost completely irrelevant considering you are in a new car but the coast hwy (can't remember exact name) between wollongong and sydney is a f**king awesome drive. my 2c
