It's registered and the engine starts fine (has a loud knocking noise) - but I would strongly advise to get it transported somehow. Last thing you want is to be stranded in the middle of nowhere.

I just drilled four small holes into the rubber part (lower lip) - took all but 2 mins to have the plate secure nice and tight - it's going nowhere

Dispaying a number plate on the dash inside a high performance car is just asking for trouble IMO. Just buy a thin number plate from the motor registry and display it like I do on my R33 GTR S1 (see pic). As for the fine - I would probably just cop it and never do it again (lesson learnt). Do you really want the hassle of going to court and running the high risk of losing and then having to pay all the court costs and the original fine? Ten years time you're not going to care about any of this lol move on

the new NPC 10" ceramic button sprung feels great! very light pedal feel! infact it's as light as the clutch in my ford laser runabout.

I guess that's what's referred to as the good old 'time waster'

yep - I'll find out tomorrow. I still have the option of going back to the OS Giken twin if the new NPC doesn't meet my needs.
