Sounds good to me. I think you will have to be careful with your tune and with paying attention to your temperatures and other gauges if you are on the track but it sounds nice and responsive.

You can do it with a 1 litre bottle but sometimes it takes just a fraction more which is annoying. It should have new pads and fluid from the compliancing so perhaps there is an air bubble in there. Either way, bleed your brakes and get back to us.

I've got a Nismo one and the difference is quite noticeable even with a completely stock car.

Only one pump. It's smaller because it's so much newer. Like most things, as time goes by people work out how to make things better smaller more efficient etc.

Have you got a consult cable? You can do idle adjustment with the datascan software which is not necessarily the fix but may help you find it.

I think it might just be that you have blown the gasket between the turbo and the manifold which is not too hard and fairly cheap to fix.

That date is pretty much confirmed but some separate details to be sorted before this is concrete.

27 November it is. Nathan - Grey Imports, Igor, Sewid and Liquid are all going. You get either a skid pan day or an observed licence test to make up for the stuff up.

There is still a possibility of sending it but most of the time I have to either be there during the day for a pick or drop it off to a depo which would involve the ute thing anyway.

I'm in Ryde and I need to get my engine from the ground to the back of a ute that I'm going to hire to take it to the engine builder down near Canberra. Need 3 strong people plus me to lift it as they are quite heavy bastards. Around 7pm or so, slightly flexible. Anyone available? The engine is on a pallet so you wont get dirty. Beers available for the duration of the job then I've gotta run.

Well it seems that 96% of people can handle reality. Thanks for the support from those that have given it. Any inference that I/we did anything other than try to get the best result for every entrant is very poorly conceived. I've posted in the other thread about the new date and also sent an email to everyone. Maybe I should go for the 11th of December and hope I have a running engine by then .

I think Nismo or someone make a wasker bottle to suit. Where to the GTR's have them? Maybe a GTR one fits?

Well I did it but forgot to take pics. The whole thing does sit about 5 cm higher now which is good because I used to scrape the pipe that goes back underneath a bit.

It's in the rear muffler.

Yup the dates offered were saturday 26/11 (27/11 was going to be sports compact but cancelled due to road works which don't effect 26/11), saturday 3/12, saturday 10/12 or sunday 11/12. I only prefer sundays due to getting a weekend day to organise things but I think realistically the 10th and 11th are too close to the heat and christmas and too far from now. So please vote here if you CAN'T come to either 26/11 or 3/12. The day with the least amount of 'can't make it's' will get the nod.
