Oh....Sif this is the second week of Sept! I will be recovering from WRC What do you do at the V8s Roo? I do Race Control, Recovery and Flag Marshalling but havent done it V8 level yet.. Cool to know your into this! Will chat to you about it when I am down next weekend!

ofcourse andrew Yep they sell them..Its shirt, pants and socks..Doesnt state a balaclava either but it doesnt hurt to have one Yes you definately need them and they range in price from pretty cheap to silly expensive.

Day/nighter is the 1st of August!! Starts around 9am and finishes at 10pm! Then I have to drive to Wakie for MRA Massive Weekend............... Cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Andrew, Dont get to stressed about it... You need a raceseat, a harness, race suit and single layer is surfice with thermals underneath, Race boots and gloves and a helmet.anything that is issue in the stores like revelution racegear is up to FIA Approval. What do you have currently to race in? I have a single layer suit with thermals, Gokart boots and gloves and motorbike helmet which is all fine to use for MRA. OMG really Boz !!! Please do it!! Would love to see you out there

OK guys I have had a development on this issue... I have been contacted by Scott Ferguson (Drag Racer) about getting involved with the planning of a protest at Parliament house. Due to me being in Sydney and a meeting being held about it tonite to plan the Protest . Would someone be interested in attending tonite? If this gets off the ground and the protest is planned it's your time to get up and show SA that enough is enough we want a flippin DRAG STRIP BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking Ruby, Shane (RBWARE) or Pete would be excellent ones to attend if willing??? If this protest is going to happen we need to get the word out to as many people as possible to get them to attend and make a stand! I will fly over from Sydney to be there for this protest!

Andrew I doubled check about the cage and yes you do need a full cage.. Good luck with finishing the engine..How much more to go??

Oh cool you're on SAU!!! Yep was an awesome Rally the road book was fantastic!!! Had a great time and I got a trophy!! I Hope to see you there...still undecided on Round 3 cause might be doing WRC early September

Well I have completed Round 2 of my Tassie Rally series - Hellyer Rally.. This round was held in Burnie and was on private logging roads and big thanks for Gunns limited to let us use there roads for this round!! Was a great roadbook with lots of turns and extremely fast straights and crests! Got sdome air on first stage and I hope there was a photographer that caught it!! For my second time being a navigator I was alot more confident cause I knew what to expect and wanted to make sure I had my s**t together.. I am still learning the Codriver responsabilities but I am definatley getting there and improving everytime I go out! The first half of the day went really well for us and was so happy by the end of Heat 1 to find out we were running in 2nd place!! This was so exciting for us as we dont run as much power as some of the other cars we are up agaisnt in our class and the rally! With putting on new tyres for Heat 2 we decided to go all out and try and keep hold of our second place and try and give the leader a run for his money!! Team DSA did so well in Heat 2 and I only lost my notes once in the longest stage (25km) but getting a lot better at finding myself in the book quickly now! I managed to get my "straight on" calls down pat and with the remote reset button for the terratrip sitting firmly in my lap we kept our 2nd place!!! Mark recieved a Trophy for 2nd place Driver Outright and I received 2nd Place for CoDriver Outright! So happy and still cant believe it!! TEAM DSA ROCKS Massive achievement for me as my 2nd ever rally and still learning to be a navigator...but with this new incentive that we are really competative....Bring on round 3 in August!! I will post pics and video tomorrow when I get back to Sydney!

Allan Ross Hmm will check with Allan tomorrow about the cage thing when I get back to Sydney I will be doing Race Control for the MRA so do come up to the box and say Hi!! I totally agree with what Brad is saying...Need to learn to drive your car and in racing conditions before you go and spend big dollars..You will find half the time you dont need it to be competative and the crowds love to watch an underdog beat the guys that spend the silly dollars

Just a bolt in half cage is surfice as you would be going into sportscars class I reckon . Aww I know...So spewin its on the same day!!!
