  1. Hey guys, I'm after a known working clutch out of a clutch fan (centre part that attaches to the water pump) for an rb25/26 (same thing). Located eastern suburbs VIC. Need pretty urgently. Can contact me on 0415 832 835, PM me also if you like. Cheers, Joe
  2. Would be interested to hear what redline have to say about it. By the sounds of it there is something within the oil itself which is causing it to froth up, only solution really is to dump it and get another oil.
  3. Under SETTINGS --> REV/IDLE F/C A/C - : changed to 1100 or so Idle A/C - : changed to 890 or so The other options are to do with when you have the air-con on, which i never do anyway so didnt really bother with them.
  4. Are you able to be more specific on which local delivered car has the same clutch assembley? Also are the clutch assembleys the same throughout rb20,25,26,30? The clutch in my 32gtr siezed this arvo and not sure if the local bursons will have anything if i ask for anything to do with gtr or rb26.
  5. Yep can also confirm that it is an upgraded pump, got a re-tune on saturday and make 311kw no problems, ran it a bit rich to test it aswell.
  6. I took off my aac yesterday because it originally wasnt plugged in and when connected i was having high idle problems and the screw was stuck aswell. This is in an r32gtr, there are 4 bolts holding the aac to the main body, all of them are fairly accesible and didnt require the intake plenum to be taken off. I was able to reach the bolts with a 10 or 12mm socket and have enough room to swing the ratchet. Taking off the attached line is a little harder as there's not much room and the clip can be a bitch to get a hold of. From here i just put the body in a vice and used a phillips head attachment in my cordless drill with a high torque setting to slowly crack it. In the end i ended up having the screw in most of the way anyway and found out that my pfc idle settings were set pretty high so i had a play with them and seems alot better but still not perfect (when i take my foot off the accelerator it drops down to 12000rpm and then slowly drops to 900rpm or so).
  7. Not willing to seperate the piping and such at this point unless there is a buyer for the afm's.
  8. One of the pipes is mild and the other plastic (needed a really tight radius) both to match the z32 diameter.
  9. Hey guys, Long story short, bought a pair of brand new z32 afm's with HPI plugs from just jap for my r32gtr. Plumbed them all up for a dyno tune and turns out i didn't need them They are 100% genuine and i'll even include the silicon joiners and brand new pod adapters so all you need to do is put on your pod filters and it will connect it up to your existing stock system. Will get photos in the morning. $600 located in vic eastern suburbs but willing to post.
  10. I get all my oil through Harold at performancelub as linked above, awesome to deal with, prices are good and sends stuff out very quickly. Mine took about 4.2L with a little bit of spillage. Yeah give it a shot central coast person, sound like you have the same problem as i did. Come to think about it ive been having problems with the gearbox in my 180 drift-pig spewing out shockproof aswell (havnt driven it in about a month), i always just thought i had a leak around the top of the case. Hmmm im sensing a common theme here...
  11. Did you purchase it brand new from a reputable place?
  12. As per title i'm after a stock known working RB26 fuel pressure regulator. Located in VIC. If anyone has one lying around please PM me! Cheers, Joe
  13. Going by the nengun site for R32 tomei fuel pumps... GTS-T = Out Put 540PS 248 L/h Standard 136 L\h GTR = 590PS 276 L/h Standard 195 L\h So gtst pump is rated to a little less but should still be plenty.
  14. Running AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR Synthetic Extreme Pressure (EP) Lubricant at the moment and seems to be the goods!. No more spewing out and shifts very nicely!
  15. Thanks for the replys guys. At a glance yes it looks stock, but the fact there is no stamps or anything leads me to beleive otherwise. Some more searching led me to think it may be a tomei pump for a gt-t as per... http://www.nengun.com/tomei/fuel-pump-nissan-skyline-r32-gts-t it looks awefully similar. Car is an 89 r32 gtr. Good to hear about that blue_vl_t, its pretty much the problem i'm having atm where the towards the end of the revs its starting to lean out, also using 750cc injectors with stock fuel pressure reg... might change the fuel filter for a new one, otherwise ill be farkeds why its leaning out (rb26, -7's, supporting mods ect, looking around the 320kw mark).
  16. Hey guys, Just trying to confirm if the fuel pump in my car is indeed a tomei one as advertised. There is no part number or anything on the casing and seems to slot into the stock cradle just fine. I've tried googling and all the pictures are tiny and hard to distinguish, but from what ive read the stock pumps have the part numbers on the main body of the unit however this one only has the numbers shown in the pic below which isnt on the main casing. So does anyone recognise it and/or confirm it's a tomei item?
  17. Finally got around to replacing the gbox oil. Seemed clean but has alot of bubbles in it, more than i can rememer in any of my other cars once drained. Is this a sign of contamination?
  18. I'll have to remember to come say hi next time! Car looked nice from the brief time i saw it. Cheers mate, fkn love the colour of your 32.
  19. Not 100% sure dude, came with the car. There doesnt look to be any modifications made to the head or the cam covers/centre garnish so i dare say its a straight swap.
  20. Lol, had a fix to the issue in the race car? I'll give it one more chance and i'll check back on it in a couple of days, if its still spewing it out i'll change to something different. Just seems hard to beleive about the supposed "bad batch", no offense moodles. The gearbox seems to select all gears fine, the only sounds i can hear from it are when downshifting into neutral to a stop i can hear the gears/synchro whirring back down to the same speed (not a bad whirring).
  21. Hmm interesting, alot of other guys reccomend it.It's definantly lightweight shockproof, can tell by its distinctive colour.
  22. Hey guys, Have a bit of an interesting one.... The oil from my gearbox keeps spewing out from the breather line which ends up near the top of the bellhousing. Bought the car with fresh shockprook oil put in and thought it must have been overfilled so i wiped away the excess, checked the oil level (just below the filler hole) and didnt take too much notice of it since. Now (2 weeks later since being wiped away) i had a look underneath the car and it's still spewing out. I've checked the oil level and its about 10mm below the filler hole, so its not overfilled. Is there a small breather, like on a diff, on the gearbox that might be blocked causing excess pressure?
