Guys im not the best car guy out there but here goes: Just wandering what that guage to the right of my Tachometer does. The Picute of an oil can one. Its measured in kg/m^2. Just wandering what the number means and where its good to be. I've noticed it moves up close to 8 when I accelerate and down to 4 when I'm still. Thanks in advance.

The Bugatti Veyron does, its a 16 cylinder quad turbo - 770 odd kw One of the biggest engineering problems for it is traction, ironic aint it?

Sorry to be off topic but I didnt wanna start a whole new thread, and Z32 has the same blow by problem. Well here goes: My car had a really bad case of Blow By where it was smoking (bluish) out the exhaust at anything past 4000RPM and a fair bit too, cause I would look in my rear view and the cars behind are engulphed in it, and there was oil seeping out of the boost controller. I ran it for around 1000kms really easily (nothing over 3000rpm) and it seems to run really really smooth now, no smoke any more even to 6000rpm, I was contemplating doing something about it, but should I bother now?

Yeh people you all should go! hehe My cars there with half finished interior (Black 33), and I slapped a wishlist on the bonnet today to blend in with the other cars around muhaha

Nah I'm not an official member yet, I live too far south to associate on a regular basis, I might just stay forumite for now

I had a friend who knew about cars come round, and I got him to passenger as I 'spiritedely' drove it. I gave it quite a bootful, and it went as smooth as a baby's bottom and still boosted to around 0.7 Bar. No noise nothing, so I'm stumped now, it ran better then ever and knew straight away it didnt feel like my line when it was stock. Perhaps it was some other noise which cleared out.... i'm just glad it doesnt make the noise any more

OMG!!!! Ok now I'm scared, cause mine is doing the same thing, its on about 0.7 - 0.8 bar EEK!!!! When you say missed, do you mean you heard the mechanical pinging noises???

Oh sorry, nah just the stocker one in the dash that goes up to 1Bar

A turbosmart boost controller, like the bleed valve style ones. I've been reading in some of the other threads round here the stock GTSt fuel pump is maxed out with only slight increases in power demand? Surely it can handle more then that....

Just what I was gonna say, the sticker does not give immunity to defects AT ALL Anyone went down there on Australia Day? The po po had a field day pulling over MOST 'hotted up' cars and defecting for anything. I for one know that I'll be going in my parents STOCK BMW cant risk a Defect a week before Autosalon

Well this is my conclusion: Since I've only just recently purchased my car it is evident I have NFI of the condition of my plugs. I will purchase 6 Iridium Plugs, new leads and retard the timing slightly

Since you've put it so well - Sick hektic - Hahahaha joking joking Yeh I just found out I've done 15,000kms since buying the car in which I dont know when the Sparkies have been changed so they will be changed soon. Are Iridium plugs really worth the $16 each asking price??

Do you reckon octane booster would help in anyway? It says "Stops pinging" but I'm lead to believe this may just be advertising

It pings too much!!!! :ghost: My mods are: 3" Mandrel bent cat back exhaust Pod Air Filter What should I do to recitfy the problem? (Please dont say put the boost back down, coz then it defeats the purpose of modifying it doesnt it! duh!) Thanks guys!

Carlo - The only other forum taking the cruise serious is DTMPower, but SCR and a couple of little minor ones have been told.
