  1. Not to be rude or anything but maybe if you posted some pictures, you would get some interest.
  2. Mmm, probably highly unlikely but you never know who is around... lol. Thanks for clearing it up anyway.
  3. Mmm. But aside from all the jokes and such, nobody could really do anything with the chassis number, right? Sorry, I just don't know who is and isn't being serious. lol
  4. I should've expected these sorts of comments. -_- lol
  5. Stupid question, I know lol. Just thought I'd ask on here to stop me from worrying. lol
  6. So, I was worrying for no reason. Glad that's been cleared up. It was continuously on my mind. Thanks R31Nismoid.
  7. Hey, Just a question in regards to VINs/Chassis Numbers. I bought an R34 25GT from Japan and it's just waiting for the next available ship headed to Australia. I organized compliance with a workshop and when they asked me for the Chassis Number in order to apply for a Vehicle Import Approval, I made the mistake of quoting the number in a public place where there's heaps of people around(I was on my break at work). So, if you overheard the number, what could you do with it? Would you be able to do anything that could prevent me from getting the car complied or registered or whatnot? I'm just hoping there were no criminals around me who rebirth vehicles and such, lol. Maybe I'm just over-reacting. Anyway, comments would be much appreciated. Thanks.
  8. I saw a four door R34 driving passed the TAFE at Kogarah yesterday going onto President Avenue some time between 3:30pm and 4:00pm yesterday. It had a SAU Sticker on the side mirror too!
  9. Aside from the introduction, shouldn't this be in the "For Sale" forum? Haha.
  10. Thanks for the warm welcome. The only problem is waiting for it to finally arrive here but it'll definitely be worth it! Oh, and yeah it's an N/A R34.
  11. Hey guys, I'm Alex and I turn 19 in April. I'm currently in the process of importing an R34 Skyline (the first car that I'm ever buying. I currently drive a 91 Hyundai Excel which my parents gave me to get around in, lol) from Japan and can't wait until I get it! I'm currently on my red Ps with four months to go on them until I can go for greens. I look forward to conversing with all of you!
  12. Hey guys, I've been browsing the forums for ages but I never actually got around to registering until a few weeks ago. I've recently started proceedings for importing an R34 25GT Skyline from Japan through J-Spec Imports. (It just needs to be transported to the RORO ship and sent to Australia and complied.) Now, it's a pretty nice car and has 61,000km on it; it's completely stock standard except for the wheels and headunit (it also included a Japanese Navigation system as well which was a Panasonic). We had it inspected and mechanically it's an A1 car, and there's nothing wrong with the engine, clutch, brakes, accelerator, etc. It just has minor cosmetic damage which I want to get fixed up before having it registered and insured. I have a couple of pictures which show the shallow dents and scratches: So, I was really just wondering if anyone could recommend someone who does paintless dent removals around Sydney for a competetive price? Or, can they be done by yourself by using various methods and such? I was also wondering about the scratches on the front bumper. Would it be worth having the front and back bumpers re-painted the same colour as the rest of the car, or just having the whole car re-painted? If it were to be re-painted, I was thinking possibly QM1 (Cloud White) or something. Is genuine QM1 hard to obtain these days, and how much does it cost to re-paint the whole car with QM1 paint? Thanks a lot guys, it means a lot.
