  3. Still thinking boys. I might offer my friend 9.5k and then wind her back to 80,000km. Get one of my other mates to fit a custom velour interior for $500. Polish the outside, tyre shine and slap on a $15k 'FOR SALE' sticker on the zed.
  4. If you really want a sale I'm happy to come and get them for $100.
  5. I'd rather a zed than a wart on my dick thats for sure. Not surprised that analogy came from a Queenslander....lol Give it to Seeona!!! (my girlfriend), come on Warren she has enough trouble keeping her Toyota Pasao in a straight line. I like the buy for 10k and sell for 15k. Do you think a mint condition 1990 model (fairlady with 2 seats) would go for that???
  6. Thanks guys. There seems to be some conflicting views on the 300zx. If I got the thing as cheap as 10k I could certainly afford to put a decent cooler on to keep the temp down. Really not sure. Waz you can buy my car if you want!!
  7. I have a friend with a really nice clean 1990 300zx TT that is manual, very very clean and just had it's 100,000km service with $1500 spent on everything from a fresh water pump to timing belts. At the same time a guy in my basketball team wants my skyline and has offered me around 18k. I could get the 300ZX for around 11k. Now the question is should I sell the skyline and buy the 300 and use the rest of the money to either retire all my debts/mod up the 300zx ? Or stay with the skyline. The 300zx hammers. I took it for a drive and its just so smooth and powerful. What are other peoples experience with 300zx's. Waz I hear your brother has one??
  8. Check PM. Very keen Call me on 0413689302 Jev
  9. Warren I admire your courage. Three blokes + Paint on their car = me dead!
  10. Last Friday night I was driving home around 11.30pm. I was driving down notorious Bell street Preston and stopped at the lights to turn right, next to the Maccas on St Georges Road. Behind me was a blue lancer with an exhaust you could hear a block away and a full evo body kit. This shit kicker had three blokes in the car. He then started revving his engine hard. When I say hard I mean red line, engine breaking revving. The whole time I'm thinking "Your a bloody tosser" Anyway the light turns green and he had about as much chance of keeping up as a pot bellied yobbo picking up a grid girl at the F1. Anyway the story did not end there. He started following me. I was near home and I went down a few streets in a big circle and the persistant little bastard kept coming. By now I'm getting pissed off and a little worried so I put the foot down and managed to get a fair way ahead. I have an eletronic roller door so I hit the 'open' button, drove in and shut the roller door without him seeing where I live. Even after doing this I could hear the drone of his exhaust going up and down the sorrounding streets for ages after. I was nearly tempted to get the old .303 rifle my family has and sit on the roof and blow one of the wheels off his car as he drove past.... Cops would probably have something negitive to say if I did that though... Anyway have any of you had something like this happen? Any road rage that has turned into a chase?
  11. I've had this problem as well. I would be willing to bet you a slab of beer it's a bad plug or dirty coils. If your out north take it to these guys J.P.C. Johnsons Performance Centre Pty Ltd Turbo Reconditioning, Dyno Tuning, Hi Performance Turbo Charging 27 Lipton Drv Thomastown VIC 3074 ph: (03) 9469 2566 Motor Engineers & Repairers $88 for a dyno and they will diagnose the problem exactly. Best money you will spend
  12. They have a very attractive young girl (on P's) working there called Nicole. She answers the phones. She'll hand you over to the right person $88.00 for full dyno tune (3 runs), cleaned and re-gapped all 6 plugs, cleaned all coils. and did some other bits and pieces
  13. Got a fuel pump? If it's cheaper than $165 I'll take it (Cheapest quote I already have)
  14. Warren, sorry I missed lunch I will go next time for sure. I'm having alot of people asking about JPC so here are their particulars below. I've been to a few shops and these guys are the best by far. I also have a friend that sells every conceivable part for imports so if you need anything then let me know. (he ended up supplying a GTR fuel pump for me) J.P.C. Johnsons Performance Centre Pty Ltd Turbo Reconditioning, Dyno Tuning, Hi Performance Turbo Charging 27 Lipton Drv Thomastown VIC 3074 ph: (03) 9469 2566 Motor Engineers & Repairers They were fantastic. They know turbo cars backward. $88 for the full tune and they seriously spent 2 hours on the car.
  15. I had to cut the spring back a little and this seemed to help it vent correctly. If you tried to adjust it and there is still too much tension I would recommend you cut the spring back ever so slightly to it vents to your desired level
  16. Thanks guys. Alot of help in a short space of time
  17. That would be great. If it completely fails on me tonight while I'm driving home from hillside I'll be one unhappy boy
  18. Boys and girls, I took my car to be dynoed as it has been running like a sack of sh%# lately at JPC in Thomastown (best guys ever). My first run revealed 120 kw@wheels for an R33 with a full 3" exhaust, new turbo, cold air intake and boost, thats not very good at all. Anyway after cleaning plugs, coils and playing around for two hours on the car I managed 140kw@wheels. I have a lazy fuel pump thats on its way out and the boys on the dyno said that anything higher than 140kw starts to lean the engine out. So, I need a new fuel pump. Any ideas, prices or places in Melbourne to get one?? I don't need a 500 horsepower pump. Just something for a mildly modified skyline
  19. I cut the the side of my original airbox to fit the pod filter in and act as a perfectly molded division from the head of the engine. If you have the bottom of your old airbox and a hacksaw blade try doing this. It will aslo secure your pod.
  20. I have the factory front pipe. It's yours for a 6 pack of beer.
  21. The other option you have as this is your first offence is to write to the transport authority and ask them to let you off. If it is your first offence they most likely will. This is a proven fact that has been covered in the media lately
