  1. Sorry not even close Will check the PM's now also and reply to you Edit: Not you robincooper, but those who have sent messages already
  2. Thanks for reply. I agree mods can save a lot, but they can also cost a lot, especially if defected. Cheers for the info, I have looked at this car once, but will take another look. The KM's are a put off but will talk to you by PM.
  3. Yes, the links I have posted link to carsales adverts. Yes, there are many cars on carsales. Yes, I have contacted many car owners over the last two weeks, but very few have replied, making me think they either do not want to sell their cars, are not getting the messages, do not check their emails, are new to computers or are scammers. Yes, I am also looking here, tradingpoint, ebay, and carpoint, importers, even considering importing from NZ as the cars are so cheap there with the high AUD, yahoo.jp, gumtree. No, that is not the point of this thread. So.. Thank you for your unrelated comments Really only looking for people that have a car that fits the above description to PM/comment.
  4. Thanks for your unrelated comments
  5. Hi, I am WANTING TO BUY your car. SYDNEY preferably, NSW possibility. R32 , R33 , Coupe, Turbo, Manual (Silvia's, Cheap R34's possible) Under 150KM's Prefer some style of LEGAL body kit. Must have RWC + have a good chance of surviving DEFECT check (plumb back bov, unexposed air filter, wheels not exceeding 25mm of original width, 100mm clearance, subtle engine bay) or a price that reflects DEFECTABLE modifications. You know it is a BUYERS market at the moment, so REALISTIC offers only. Budget $0-$12k ono Before you offer please get an idea of what your car is worth. R32 Stock Relative Low KM's $6000 R33 SI Stock Not Silver Relative Low KM's $7000 R33 SII Stock Silver Relative Low KM's $10000 These cars have been listed for a while now and have not sold at those prices. Silver R33/R34's are worth less. Gunmetal R32/R33's are not silver. Please don't tell me that your car is worth more because you modded it heaps. They are often worth much less. Modifications done properly, by professionals, with certs/papers are different. This is not the 90's anymore and modded cars are getting defected left, right and center. I work as a college lecturer with ranging hours, so viewing during work hours can be arranged. If you have a car suitable please PM me or reply below.
  6. Hot Looks like it would survive a defect check also And a realistic price on the SAU forums?? What is going on! SAU
  7. I have owned an R34 GTT auto before and had to sell it. It was ok, but whenever I actually wanted to drive it, the auto was a let down. And selling an auto skyline is a mission. There are better markets for automatic cruisers than GTT's/skylines, both as a buyer and seller.
  8. please send me a PM if you are planning to be in metro sydney and would consider 10k
  9. On a recent trip to USA I noticed a lot of the toyota related "Scion" cars modified I also see that one of the hsots of USA top gear is driving one of these on the drift circuits (nice to see an s13 cleaning up there)
  10. I just moved here from NZ 27yr old Clean driving record - no tickets in last 5 years, accidents, claims, theft, fire etc.. nothing.. Shannons wanted $2070 p/a for full insurance on a R33 GTS25T 5spd, some mods, valued at $11,000 Perhaps it is because I have not been in aussie long enough to build up a good rating, but all the NZ companies are owned by aussie ones anyway. They kept telling me that young kids like me kept writing off skylines. I told them the kiddies write of all types of cars, they just buy more skylines because they are cheap and good cars. Hardly consider myself to be a 'young kid' at 27, but whatever >< Justcars was significantly cheaper, and even cheaper again if it was insured under wifes name (who is younger). Go figure. *Edit: That was also for apartment building style parking, 24hour concierge, CCTV video cover, not private lockup.
  11. another car for your dying son? this time don't send strangers money for a car that does not exist! gl
  12. http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=9895453
  13. You can get tidy stock manual R33 gtst's on the online sites (private sales) for $6500-$7000 so $4500 for one with damage is not that unreasonable. Recommend spending the money on an English tutor though - better return.
  14. Hi, Moved to aussie recently, looking for a replacement to my old r33. After series 1 or 2 with kit, pref GTR style with R400 sides. Engine mods and interior are 2nd priority. Coupes only. Will consider all colours although silver is least fav. Some of you may be offended that I'm not after heavily engine mod'ed R33 but I don't plan on driving it that hard and prefer the 'deep' look of an R33 with kit. There are some R33's on here with pretty high prices on them. If you are looking to sell yours please check what you can get off the yards with 3yr warrenties before PM'ing / replying. I know you love your car and you think you are selling it for a steal, but 15 year old, imported turbos with amateur mods are really worth only so much. $10,990 Kitted Series2 R33 off the yard $10,890 Partial Kitted Series2 R33 off the yard Someone please make me a more realistic offer for private sale R33, NSW only, closer to sydney the better. Cheers Edit: Attached pic of old car, cost $8500AUD 2-3 years ago in NZ, much cheaper there but what'ya'gonna'do! After something similar.
  15. Thanks I will check those out I should mention I am also looking on these forums
  16. Hi, I am new to australia and looking for the best sites to browse for used cars (specifically skylines) online. I have tried ebay and carsales, can anyone recommend any other sites or are those the best? Location: Sydney Cheers
  17. Ah if you were not so far from sydney I would be pretty interested, just moved to aussie and wanting to replace my NZ r33 Saw this car on ebay - gl with the sell. In my op even with the mods you might find you have to drop the price again. I bought mine for $7500 AUD in NZ a few years ago and sold it for much the same (actually the rate was not the same back then so more like $8500) - yours is sII though, with nicer interior and more mods. I have noticed less good skylines for sale here in Aussie too, which prob drives the prices up. Good cars. If you can't sell at your current location for current price and are prepared to drop a few grand + bring it closer to sydney, let me know, fewer mods is ok. Cheers Duncan
