  1. Benny spotted a Stage21 cage listed on JDMST a couple of days ago. After a bit of stuffing around contacting the seller, I secured it. It was only advertised as a half cage though. So when I saw that it was a full-cage it just made the bargain, even better. At least now I can have passengers when doing skids. Unsure when I’m going to fit it though, I’m still wondering whether I should strip the rear of the car out or not. I’ve gotta make my mind up soon though, that’s for sure! Monkey bars
  2. open to offers, I want this stuff gone.
  3. Hey, I'm after some inner tie rods and lower control arms as spares. Must be for an R33. Cheaper the better. Let me know what you have. Located in Syd. Adam.
  4. Last month, Benny and I placed an order with JDL tuning for an R33 roof spoiler. Last Friday it turned up and I didn’t hesitate to mock it up. As you can see it is much more aggressive than the Vanquish spoilers which is what I really like about it. It’s the first cosmetic piece of many. One day, I’ll have the Skyline looking mighty boss. It’s just a matter of when. Spoilt

  6. keep it cool So after my high water temps on the skidpan last week, I figured I better get it under control ASAP! So I opted for the largest radiator I could find, purely because I no longer have a clutch fan and have the extra space. After hunting around, I found a 52mm radiator on Ebay for a steal at $169 shipped! Believe it or not, all the Chinease radiators come out of the same factory, Cooling Pro, ASI, Saber you name it … it is all the same! Here’s a comparison photo of the OEM unit and the new radiator. It’s monstrous! It looks like the core is bigger then what was advertised as too, so I measured it up out of curiosity. The core is infact 56MM! now let’s compare it to the OEM radiator.. It’s over double the core thickness of the OEM unit, nice! I remember when I fitted a Cooling Pro radiator to my MX-5, the mounts needed slight modifications to get it all sitting nicely. I’m happy to report I had to do absolutely nothing to this unit, it was a direct bolt in! While I was at it, I changed the lower radiator hose for a silicone unit. It matches the Billion upper radiator hose to a tee! Here it is all fitted, this should help keep water temps down. Not much left to do before Mad Monday, rad!
  7. Negative, I learn't on an open diff. If anything it'll be better to learn with less. You'll then realise how things work/make it easier when you start adding parts to the car. VLSD would be fine for now.
  8. Isn't that how America works? higher, fatter, bigger and so on.
  9. braking?! standard calipers would be fine. Get it out to the track, fix shit you break and when you feel your ready for more power, or more lock then go for it. Oh, a must have is a good, supportive seat it makes a world of difference.
  10. Just get as much track time as possible, seems like it's a decent base to learn in already.
  11. Yokohama C-drive2!
  12. plenty of pics here mate: http://www.carsales....aspx?R=11229233

  16. Elvis, I've got aftermarket gauges, OEM are rubbish and too general with readings.
  17. sweet, well that gives me something to go off for when I put a thicker oil in mine. Cheers dude!
  18. yep got an oil cooler. What was your pressure like on idle when hot? I'm going to try some 10-60W for wakefield in a few weeks, I'm sorting out a bigger radiator, water wetter and other things too (water temp was 100+ too). Last thing I'd want is the engine to let go, atleast not till after Matsuri haha.
