A lot of places won't pass an exhaust on a defected car, as it can come back to haunt them. A vehicle really does need to be engineered if it has any modification which can change its emissions. Having said that, you shouldn't have too many problems passing emissions as long as you have a working cat converter. The advantage of having an engineers certificate, combined with legal modifications, is that when you get pulled over, you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

I had a VG30 turbo on my Cefiro. It made 167kw@wheels on 13psi. Wasn't really that laggy at all, infact I thought it drove pretty well.

I spotted an R33 GTST next to me in traffic in Nth Sydney today... Didn't notice it till the lights went green.

It needs a whole heap of suspension work and some new tyres. Other than that, she's good.... To anyone interested, this car is definately worth the money.

How does one actually correct bump steer? My car gets massive amounts of this, probably due to the crazy JDM tyte y0! suspension that's in it.

How well would this run my hunk of crap?

I'm more than happy to leave my car with my mechanic and let him do whatever the hell he wants with it.

I've got 18x9.5's with a +13 offset front and rear. The rears on mine don't seem to be a problem, and the fronts only lightly rub on one of the tabs for the guard liner when under heaps of load, or with more than 1 person in the car. A lot of that probably has to do with my suspension having HEAPS of travel, so with some stiff coilovers, the problems should disappear. Incidently, tyres are 245/45/18's.
