In Sydney, I think that most modded car owners have similar problems. Other "HERO" modded car owners see Ur car cruising on the streets and think its fast and furious time. Park a modded car anywhere and pray that car thieves dont steal Ur car. GTR owners should be the most concerned, but since we dont want to drive CAMRYS ( lol ONARUN......dig Ur leather seats btw:) Owning a modded car has its drawbacks, but we wouldnt have it any other way....would we?

If Petrol goes up to $1.20 a litre, maybe all future SAU cruises will be limited to a 25km radius due to cost considerations:D But seriously, we are lucky to live in an age where resources such as fuel and water are still in plentiful supply. Who knows how things will be 30 years from now. Just my 2 Cents

BTW, I'm also an ex Deejay / promoter as well. started out doing Harbour Cruises. lived in Japan 4 a year and Deejayed at club Nylon in Kobe. Returned 2 Sydney and played at clubs including Kinselas, Dalleys@ Manly Parkroyal, even had a residency at Neo Pharaoh. Also a former member of Technology Productions on the Northern Beaches. We promoted the raves Crisis Point 1,2, and 3, Nitro, Bonzai etc. The Skyline doesnt influence the music that I listen to, but does influence the sound system in my car:D

Anyone here a DJ/ DJ Musician or DJ wannabe? Are you a bedroom DJ, mobile DJ or Club DJ? what sort of music do you play? How does owning a Skyline or a performance nissan affect your musical tastes?

Denon make DJ CD decks which have a Jog shuttle that let you scratch CDS. I have a Pioneer CDJ 500 CD Deck which does the same thing. Personally, I prefer Vinyl and 1200's to cut up tunes. I'll start up a new thread in the General discussion forum:)

If you want the best of both worlds...... Buy a skyline as Ur road car, and import a modded 180sx ( Unreg) to use as a track car. You can flog the s**t out the car out on the track, and still have a good car 2 drive around.

I've had an idea to legally obtain spare parts for skylines at a reduced cost. Basically a group of us posts a list of required parts etc (for example: 1 person may need Bonnet,front guards etc...another may need a new motor.....someone else may need a gearbox,diff etc....) When and if enough people are on board, we can purchase a car directly from Japan to import for dismantling for parts. Yes we could divide the cost among us ( still paying customs duty and supporting our local warfies by providing them with our car stereos....wheel centre caps etc...... just kidding) Someone would need to step and offer their backyard 2 dismantle the car etc...which could be a problem. We could all be doing this ourselves, if it wasnt for the upfront cost involved. By dividing the cost amongst ourselves, we stand to save LOTS of money. It may upset a lot of businesses, but it may encourage local shops to compete by lowering their markups. This would also benefit us. Does anyone think that this idea will work?

Hey everyone, Sundays must be the best day for a cruise. Not a cop car in sight. Catching up with everyone on a regular basis on a laid back day like Sunday sounds like a great idea. Lets keep it up:cool:

Why are some people here acting like such judgemental Pricks? Can someone please tell me what he has done to deserve such treatment? As far as i know he has dealt honestly and I have not heard of any bad experiences in dealing with him. You see folks...There are other people in Japan with access to performance parts.......do you really think they would deal with people who rubbish them without knowing them or done business with them. If you would rather deal with people in Australia and over pay for your parts...then thats fine. So if you would like to get anything out in the open about anyone or anything.....feel free to do it here....get it over and done with so we can move onto better things.

Hyper Rev is a visual representation of what we all want 4 our Skylines. It lists pictures of aftermarket products, prices and where in Japan to buy them.

Has anyone here rebuilt their gearboxes with strengthened gears etc? Can GTR internals be used and is this is a good idea? Any info appreciated before my 5 speed box is installed:cool:
