Hey all since the sudden rise in stolen vehicles, in particular our skylines, was considering getting a GPS tracking device installed into the car to help thwart the enemy. Has anyone got one, if so were did you get it done and how much. This is something i think we should all be thinking about.

Jez NF thats a sick looking 33 don't change the spoiler, that looks phat, as for the bonnet scoop i didn't say i was gonna be cutting holes in it myself, was talking bout getting an aftermarket pre-done bonnet, theres plenty of shops around aus willing to ship to ya as you would know, but to be worrying bout heat from the cops cause of an add on to bodywork wouldn't worry bout it as long as you don't drive like a nut.

I say don't put it on, our cars look heaps better without spoilers, and its not gonna get you any performance gain, if you want it to look tough, get some sort of bonnet scoop/vents, thats what i'm thinkin bout doin.

I don't know mate I'm a chef not a mechanic, i can cook a mad feed, but wouldn't trust myself to touch the engine, not my area of expertize, but all these things i will jot down and tell Andy maybe he might know, but seriously keep the info comin fellas i need the help to fix this problem.

Heard that Dentcraft does it, they got a shop near Mirriam drive of Roe highway, i haven't don't it but got recommended to me from wilkenson suspension centre.

Yeah mate its a e-boost street, don't know what the spring pressure of the wastegate is though, have to ask my mechanic

Hey ya'll, put this thread in the forced induction section on a previous post but no ones replying Just had a Garrett Gt 30 turbo, 650cc injectors, Z32 airflow meter put in my R34 GTT RB25DET with other mods put in before Greddy FMIC Xforce exhaust system Walbro fuel pump Turbosmart boost controller Nistune Podfilter Currently running 214rwkw or 287hp. My tuner and mechanic is Andy at Hyperdrive in Malaga W.A. Now he came across a small issue, that prevented the engine not reaching its potential, as closely as i recall he said that while he was tuning it he had set the boost to 13 but then it would go back down to 9 then work its way back to 13. The power from the turbo doesn't kick in until bout 3000-3500rpm, and he wants it to come on in that mid range of 2000-25000rpm, so that the engine can get what he estimated which was about 310-320hp. Andys told me hes calling up the turbo and boost controller peeps to see what they say, but anyone who has dealt with Andy knows he doesn't mess around with ya car. Also has a idle issue sounds like the engine wants to stall. If anyone who knows what the issue is, or what it could possibly be let me or Andy know. Cheers

Don't know what the situation is with Andys Dyno exactly, but think he said he had to sought out the walls and put something into the ground then he said it would be all sweet in 2 weeks that was a week ago so hopefully its still on track for completion. Didn't know he was taking cars to another guys unit, but he was tuning mine at 5:30-6:00pm at his joint after hours cause some douchebag next door complained bout the noise, when his shop is in a industrial area, that is such bullcrap.

God dammit! can't anyone organize a cruise that happens on a weekday, i work every weekend. It sucks balls i can't get to any of these especially when i live near midland for this one.

Yeah for sure he should of had insurance, but if your car was stolen and you didn't have insurance, wouldn't you feel like your in a desperate situation. Even if 100 people chip in that amount he's gonna have 5 grand to start a new project, us skyline people gotta stick together.

Damn ya'll hope this prick didn't do to much damage to the car, if its written off, then maybe we can do a fundraiser/ cruise to get the rightfull owner back in a skyline, say $50 from everyone on the cruise thats just an idea. Who else is up for that and to start ideas on the situation.

Check the recommended workshops thread or use the search engine next time or you will cop a blasting from a lot of people on here, trust me mate i know. Theres roy at Kensei garage in Wangara, Andrew at hyperdrive in Malaga, Allstar boys also in Malaga, check the thread for which ones closest to you.

I Get my servicing at northside Nissan, yeah they are a bit expensive, but one time i had them fix a window regulator as it wasn't workin properly, few days later, while i was washing my car, noticed that one of those plastic screws was missing from the bloody door panel. Called them up told them that the screw was missing, got the car in there, was in and out in 15 mins. If your a loyal customer, and your a sauwa member, and you make a complaint, they will look after you.

Thanks for the offer man, but i've got Andrew at hyperdrive doing all the leg work for me, just thought i'd finally let you all know who was workin on my car. Whats happening to my car is a turbo upgrade, larger injectors and a airflow meter, parts supplied and fitted for $4700. and i think thats fair. He has to make a profit to somehow, thats why its called a business.

Listen man you can think what you want but i'm getting all the stuff done for my car and its parts supplied and fitted so i don't care bout how much it costs. Also i just got an e-mail from the mechanic and he said he received a call from the turbo workshop saying that the bigger rear housing on the turbo wasn't good enough so they sent it back again. So i'm just going for a normal sized one.

I didn't say that mate, I said that, i was told it was from a BATCH of turbos that were made, not all of them. Calm down, jesus christ.

No its not but you tell me this if a professional mechanic told you that would you take the risk, i think not . There just makin sure that the turbo is gonna take the power, revs, boost, pressure whatever it is.
