I have the handset, but haven't used it that much. Is that sufficient if I want to retune it or should I look into buying the Datalogit software?

I am trying to do some work on my R33 GTR and find myself needing to read codes from the APEXi Power FC and possibly retune it. What software or cable can I use? I know it has a Consult I port, but can you use a standard reader with the APEXi ECU? If not what is the best way to access the information? I know that I have seen the FC-Datalogit software, so is that the best/ only option? Thanks for the help and hope this is in a close to right section!

Wow, I feel dumb. I looked for a switch before and I think I got turned around being under there cause I was looking at the clutch. Thanks for the help. The only wire I have in the back now is the trunk open wire. I think it links directly to the trunk light, so I will probably just have to run a wire. While I do some of the others though, anybody know if this wire goes up front? Thanks again.

So I am trying to finish locating all the wires for a security/ remote start system. The one wire I have not traced is the brake light wire. I need to tap into one of them and would prefer not to have to extend a wire all the way back to the truck. Anybody know if there is a wire in the dash somewhere that I could pull this from? Basically I just need a wire that gives +12V when the brake is pressed. Thanks!
