  1. Hey everyone. Up forsale is my 1990 Bnr32 GTR, with 118,xxx k's. I havent had the car for very long, and i dont have the money to fix the issues. Bad: Blown Head gasket. No water in the oil, No oil in water. The cooling system is being pressurized. The Over flow bottle, Over flows. Hasn't over heated at any point. Rear Diff pinion bearing is pretty noisy. Driveline squeel, when backing off the throttle, I dont no what it is yet. Maybe related to rear diff. Drivers side seat is torn on the right hand side. G/box is alittle crunchy, normal driving is fine. Paint is peeling on the roof in 2 spots. Hicas light does flash every now and then. Clutch pedal feels heavy, because the slave cylinder is leaking. I have brand new genuine clutch master and slave cylinder that will go with the car pretty decent oil leak from engine, looks to be from passanger side of motor. Maybe oil returns pipes from turbos. Not running full boost. Needs drivers side door actuator Good: Car still drives fine apart from the issues listed above Interior still in pretty good nick besides the seat. Plenty of rego Koyo Radiator Jasma Exhaust system with centre muffler removed. 4. Hey everyone, I am regretfully putting my "best car I have ever owned" R32 skyline up forsale. The story goes, I have recently purchased a R32 GTR and have found that trying to keep 3 cars on the road is pretty hard. The GTR has ended up needing alot more attention/money than i first thought. In the past few months the White R32 has developed a coolant leak, I originally thought it was a cracked radiator and have since found that the over flow bottle is over flowing, indicating that pressure is building up in the coolng system "blown head gasket". So instead of eventually getting the funds to fix it I have decided to put it up for sale, and see if I get any interest and possibly a sale! 1992 Nissan Skyline R32 M-spec Ap engineering Power Fc with new Hand controller 550cc Denso Injectors 3" Dump pipe High flow cat Xforce 3" stainless Exhaust High Flow fuel pump Front Mount Intercooler Hpi Alloy Radiator Greddy Coilovers JJR adjustable Castor Rods Whiteline front sway bar Hicas Lock bar 17x8 Drift teks gloss black kumho escta xs ku36 tyres (will have to double check size) Unique auto front brake upgrade adapters Front, 324mm r34 Gtr DBA heat treated slotted rotor Rear, DBA Heat Treated slotted rotor Cusco brake master cylinder stopper QFM race pads GTR copy fibre glass front bar Smoked indicators GTR headlights Defi, boost and temp guage Nardi steering wheel Blitz turbo timer Resprayed white by previous owner, originally Gun metal grey. 5. Sooo... I have managed to blow a head gasket on my r32 gtst and my new 32 gtr.. So, while they are off, I plan on getting some work done to them! Just after some advice from anyone who has modified the heads and what sort of gains you got? I am looking to get them ported and port matched, also bigger valves and double valve springs if its worth it! I will be running standard cams!! Cheers guys!
  6. Hmmm.. But the vacum line is connected to the sensor.. So, one end to the sensor and the other with a bolt in the end..
  7. Hey everyone, I bought a r32 gtr a few weeks ago. After sorting out the afm problem, I am still having issues with boost, when I was fiddling around today I found a sensor on the fire wall near the brake booster (not the sensor for the internal boost gauge) another one next to that with a larger vacume line.. I traced the vacum line and wiring into the car. The wiring ends at the passanger floor with nothing connected and the vacume line stops in the drivers side kick panel with a bolt stuck in it!! The part number on the sensor is 949940-6270, which comes up as a map sensor.. Which concerns me as this sounds like something that should be connected and a vacume line should be connected.. Can any one shed any light? Thanks..
  8. It's starting to get pretty average in Newcastle if you have a modified car. But I do see why they are doing it. In saying that the government isn't making it Easy to make modified cars legal. BUT if people continue to go to coragang and the foreshore, the police will continue to go there and defect. On a side note, like to see if a police car has a engineer certificate for all the "none standard" equipment they have.
  9. Yeah I saw that.. Just a lil bit out of my price range!! Pretty sure I have seen ur car somewhere before!
  10. As above looking for a r32 gtr, $12k+.. Not looking for something perfect at that price but something in fairly good condition, modified or not it doesn't bother me, i will travel if i feel it's worth the trip. I have had a look at a few and they have mostly been in very average condition, having issues requiring overhaul of major components.. But if you have one that has a busted motor and is priced pretty well, I might consider it.. Pm me and let me no what you have..
  11. Thanks for the reply guys. After reading sydkings reply I am think I mite sell my gtst and buy a gtr.. Thanks again!!
  12. Hey everyone.. I have deffiently searched and found a fair bit of useful information.. I am looking to do a rb26 conversion on my r32 gtst "I can't afford a gtr, and I can't part with my gtst".. I would like to clarify a few things before I go ahead with the conversion! Can I use a r33 gtr motor?? People only seem to be using r32 rb26's in the r32 gtst, I thought all rb26 motor where basically the same or am I missing something? Apart from it being a lot easier to change the turbo's when the motor is out of the car is there any other reason to change the turbo's? I did read something about if the motors sit for awhile the turbos tend to give up not long after being put into service again! While the motor is out I will be replaceing the following: Timing belt and seals Water pump Oil pump?? Inlet and exhaust manifold gaskets Rocker cover gaskets Thermostat Rear main All other typical serviceable parts Baffeld sump Any thing I miss?? Thanks for your help guys
  13. Hi all, I am looking to put a bigger turbo on my rb20. I have been doing research and searching on sau but I am alittle confuses on where to get one and what size housing to get. I have been looking at the gt3071r and I want to bolt it up to the standard manifold, can anyone please help me out on what size housing I should be getting and if this would be a good size turbo aka not to big or to small?? And any other info I need!
  14. Do you reckon it's worth over filling the engine alittle??
