yes without a problem. Looks like a HKS manifold (it could be, can't see any branding). All the runners are 42mm. The two wg runners go into single 60mm pipe. Controlled boost well and comes onto boost hard!
turbo has approx 5000 kms on it. I t was new when i purhased car. Manifold and wg are unknown age but still in perfect working order.

Has anyone ever heard of or used HKS 272 9.6mm IN and EX cams for rb26?? I have had these for a while.
I have searched SAU and google but cant find much info on these cams.
I have heard these cams are the old HKS "STEP 1" cams.
I would like to know if the head needs to be releived for these to be fitted? I was under the impression STEP 1 cams are drop in.
I currently have a pair of the new HKS STEP 1 cams 264 8.8mm IN and EX.
Is it worth changing to the 272's on a mid 600hp T04z equipped Rb26det.
Any info would be much appreciated?
My Rb26det has been making 475rwkw (638hp) @ 26psi for over 6mths with to4z and e85.

So many 300 - 350kw engine builds are so over engineered (
workshops and machine shops must be making a killing)
Biggest factor effecting a motors lifespan is the TUNE IMO!
ps currently upgrading, rods,crank, oil pump and going for more power.
Yes you need to pull the timing covers off and count the number of teeth between camshafts and crankshaft gear. I don't know the numbers off the top of my head? Do you have a workshop manual?

Hey mate it sounds like to me the timing belt is out one tooth. I have had this problem before when i replaced the timing belt. It would also drive fine untill 5000 rpm then stop reving. Took me a while to work it out but it was advanced one tooth.
Worth a look!!
