  1. that doesnt look too bad, but looks to actually be a shorter route! ful trip is 650kms... you would have to see where to get your fuel from.
  2. haha, yea. if we were seriously doing it, would be looking at probably a 12hr round trip. would probably stop at gloucester, then before the national park, then after, then probably after wooten way in buladelah.. epic cruise!
  3. yea i would mainly be keen to to the part across the top, looks like a main road and is probably good quailty, but im guessing we would have issues with traffic... ive driven up to gloucester in my car, not too bad bits of road, havent been past there though. could make a weekend of it and stop in gunnedah overnight haha..
  4. i will be keen to come to this, probably as a spectator though, and take some pics etc..
  5. next cruise anyone?....
  6. Cheers mate, those above where only photo shops.. they look like this now. couldnt get rays gold spoke stickers for the 19in.. so i got custom made yellow ones, along with the dish sticker.. just about to change the valve stem for black too..
  7. Yea I watched it. Very interesting!
  8. just build a drive through one infront of it. front one for cars, rear for parts and tools haha..
  9. always need a bigger shed. im still dreaming of my 9x12 or 15..... one day haha.
  10. i would have to agree, i had heaps of rubbing running 275/35 on my 19x10.5 +22 and had to change to 275/30 as it was to annoying. that was at stock height too! got a set of 18s i will probably run 285s on though as you can get the right rolling dia etc.
  11. Looks great mate! have you lowered it now? or is it just the skirts making it appear so?
  12. Thanks for the comments guys! will get better pics up once the black valves go on. cheers, got the nismo bar from a forum member on here, just got lucky. not sure if its genuine as it has no stamp, but it looks really good and did come from japan and has a very similar look to how its made comapred to other nismo items... the test fit will tell. cheers mate, once the bar is on i will be in touch, will more than likely still be months away though unfortunately.
  13. Thanks mate, i was abit unsure once i put them on as the red valve looks really bad and out of place. i think once i get a black one on there it will be great. also got center cap adaptors for the SLs but unfortunately the only style of cap that i wanted was the flush type, and it doesnt clear the axle on the front. a little dissapointed but still happy with the result. I need some decent pics, once the bar is painted and on might get a pro shoot done i think.
  14. Cheers mate, mine does get reffered to as big bird by some now haha.. dont really have a gallery, just posted up lots of pics in here scattered through various pages etc. was thinking about starting a build thread but havent, it has changed alot since i bought it, and still isnt finished, got a nismo front bar waiting to get painted, and just bought some LMGT4s (but they wont go for quite awhile yet). i have a only a couple of wallpaper quality pics taken by someone on the putty road cruise last year, send me a PM with your email and i can send a few through.
  15. Heres some pics of mine with the new wheel stcikers. looks good but i need to change the valve stem which is painful! will have better pics up once its finished.
  16. Matt, Any updated pics from the current owner? would be interested to see how its doing?..
  17. Sounds good, if there is a group of you heading up we can just organise before hand a time to meet at the truck stop etc via mobile or something on the day, then head back up north as one group.
  18. haha maye bring spares just in case haha?...
  19. LMGT4s Finally came up in 10.5 width for a fair price.
  20. Do u have a pic of yours for fitment? I just got some rims that size but was hoping to run 285/35 for the chunckier look..
  21. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/418326-cruise-putty-road-north-17022013/ cruise finally up
  22. Hello All, Its finally time for our first run of the year for the Newcastle and central coast guys. As always anyone is welcome as long as you follow the rules. details below. Date: 17/2/13 Meet point: BP in beresfield (the one off the pacific Highway near the end of the F3) Meet time: 9:00am Leave time: 9:30am~ Route: Head off from the BP up the hunter valley via the New England Highway, turn left onto the Golden Highway after Branxton, Turn left onto Putty Road and follow it down to the truck stop. we will have a little break there, then head back up putty road and stop for lunch in Greta. there is plenty of parking, and a bakery or the pub for food and drinks. we will probably arrive at the end point from 12.30-1.30. cruise finishes here. make sure you have a full tank a fuel for the run, and bring a camera if you have one to take some snaps of the day. If sydney guys are keen to come up from putty road south, let me know and we can arrange to meet at the truck stop and can continue with us to the lunch stop. I will have some walkie talkies on the cruise, so if you have some also bring them along. Of coarse on this cruise we will be sticking to the speed limit as we have done on our other ones. Remember this is a cruise not a race. We WILL: Give way to everyone and everything! Stick to the speed limit NOT hoon NOT be loud and stupid, ESPECIALLY in towns (low rpm!) Have a great day like on our other cruises ANY CAR IS WELCOME, ANY PERSON IS WELCOME, AS LONG AS YOU ARE BEHAVED AND HAVE THE RIGHT ATTITUDE!!!! Hope to see you all there! any questions just post in here.
