  1. these adaptors im sourcing will allow you to fit normal volk center caps (GT, formula and flat syle ones) to the SL's. The guys can also provide flat ones pretty cheap, so im thinking i might get them, as i can seem to find any center caps that i think will suit my wheels with yellow stickers on etc..
  2. No problem, once I have them will add all details and pics, might make a thread for it. Will keep u guys posted
  3. Nice work mate! Will forward the details once I test/get them. Basically they make an adaptor to fit normal rays centre caps etc.
  4. yea ive been pretty busy, should be on here abit more now though... trying to get bits for my wheels, talking to some guys in the states that can provide center cap adaptors for my SL's, and center caps, and yellow stickers hopefully. should know in the next couple of days. should look pretty good once finished hopefully!
  5. Good work mate, congrats! will be nice to see one (more) around newcastle. Also if you have it by the 2nd of dec, we have a cruise organised, search the events thread or pm me for details if interested. Also another user 'wedge_R34_gtr' (might not be his exact spelling), has just had his 34R do the reverse trip from newcastle to perth, can pm him for his details and experience? anyways, all the best re shipping! Cheers, Anthony ps. would love to go for a ride in one (still havent been in one yet) if you need an excuse to drive it can only offer a return ride in my 34 GTR, which may or may not interest you ha.
  6. no problem mate, see you then. hopefully its done in time mate, if not, i may have a spare seat. keep us posted
  7. Nah there not varrstoens, te37sl like mine but the owner tracked down adapters to fit center caps to them. I thought the same though, untill I spotted the dish te37sl sticker.. It is an extremely nice car!
  8. nice one mate, hopefully catch you at the cruise next weekend if your coming out.
  9. Guessing it was dry? Matt, your car still going?
  10. Sounds like a strange problem.... I thought u were changing the ecu?
  11. hard choice.. 135i is faster than the 335i i believe (same engine, smaller body) depends if you want the luxuries of the 3 series etc.. TTS, i would be looking at TTRS.. there expensive but coming down in price.. EVO X would be great, heard there horrible on fuel thats about it. as for my next car.. Been looking at 911 996 GT2s recently.. look like they'd be alot of fun, but i doubt i will be getting rid of the 34R anytime soon...
  12. Haha yea I know, when I changed it I went through about 5 iterations of making it smaller then got the shits with it and left it... Will fix it... Sometime ha
  13. Yea I reckon 400 would be too much for those turbos... Could probably get a dyno to read it, but how accurate?... I'm pretty sure both run out of puff around 22-24psi?...which would restrict huge top end power etc...
  14. Price drop $250... Just want these out of my garage, I have no use for them. Let me know
  15. all this talk of turbos is making me very keen for the next stage on mine.. seriously going to have to consider E85 i think.. have seen results with a similar planned setup as mine making 370awkw! will be hard to pass that potential up i think..
  16. yea fair enough mate. just be easy on the clutch when you get it back, its generally the weakest part of the car from stock. and it is advisted when going with bigger turbos to upgrade it etc.. you doing anything else bar turbos and computer?
  17. yea fair enough, i really thought it was the other way round though. -9s being slightly bigger but better in design, therefore only a tiny bit more lag than the -7s but more top end.. i was fairly certain the -7s were the smallest upgrade turbos you could buy, but there is so much confusion around these turbos that i wouldnt be suprised if i had it wrong haha.. Wedge you know abit about this dont you?
  18. Did think that, did look abit like his, but wasn't sure, couldn't remember his number plates...
  19. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's the other way round mate. Who's telling you this? The seller? -9s are An updated version of the -7s, pretty much the same response as the -7s but flow a fair amount more. -9s on the same set up make more than the -7s etc...
  20. Nah looked and sounded fairly stock, had stock wheels as well, and appeared to be a non vspec..
  21. spotted a nice bayside blue R34 GTR on buemount street today just after lunch around 1...
  22. Ahh yea I remember, should have caught up for a chat when we did stop for lunch... I was probably just too focused on not pooing myself haha
  23. i could be wrong, i just remeber reading that value on a website somewhere..
  24. would think fairly cheap, as R34 GTRs were only about 4-5mil Yen new im pretty sure.. although what they would have sold for in Aus is very different
