  1. Yep.. Should have results I hope this afternoon...
  2. Pods have been delivered and are sold. Thank you.
  3. No results yet, hoping I get a call sometime this Arvo to find out how it went... I'm very keen also. I think benji would have to shave all body hair, and possibly remove seatbelts? Haha
  4. Benji, you should remove all the paint off your car... Would be a saving of several Kgs I would think, and about as useful as removing boot carpet and number plate plastic
  5. Yea I would have to agree with Matt, no point in rushing I don't think.. Let it play out i rekong how we got it going and see what happens...
  6. Ordered my new tyres today, so these should be off my car by Friday, if not next week. More than open to hearing offers?... These will need to go!
  7. Yea mine do... I'm pretty sure you can just lock it with the key also which doesn't set the alarm?
  8. No idea sorry mate.. i will be a smart ass and say mine came with 2 keys... and 2 remotes! edit: i cant remeber but it might be only series two 34rs with the chips in them? could be way off here though...
  9. Yea I'm keeping all stock parts.... The guy that can tune it is up in Brisbane I think from what JEM informed me
  10. fair call on the ferry.. im still happy to make a split meeting point for the people who want to go the ferry route?... all that sounds good though mate. no vcam for my car, can find areas to better spend money. update on my ecu.. its basically been chipped by a company in japan that there is about 1 licence in aus to tune it haha.. so i will be going for the haltech and i got the ok to have work off too so very happy! my bank account wont be though.
  11. Yea as long as I can get off work, I think I will just go with the haltech hey... Very keen to see the results, won't be anything fancy though... I think it will get me heaps keen to hurry up and do stage 2 haha
  12. Yea im pretty keen on the haltech tbh, would like the car to run as good as possible, Just need to sort out timing with work etc. will forward the link to the guys and JEM tomorrow and see what they think and go from there. I actually stumbled on that page whilst I was searching for haltechs wtf haha
  13. http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=875 Pretty interesting! Looks like mine hey?.. Seems like I have a modified standard ecu with a daughter board fitted to be tunable?... Mmm guessing no one would know how to tune it ha
  14. thanks matt. i might have to ask if i can give gunnedah a miss at work... priorities right! plus i dont really need to go up there till friday, and i can fly up and back then... sounds better to me!
  15. yea fair enough, i still dont think i will be able to make it though unfortunately... i wont be back in newy untill around 4pm..
  16. yea i got no idea... i remember reading somewhere that 34rs to run nistune have to swap out for a 32 gtr ecu or something like that.. i really have no idea about it to be honest! i would be happy to go to haltech now (bar the money bit ha) but the problem is JEM need the car overnight then, and thrsday im meant to be up in gunnedah, and wont be back till friday afternoon, ie will have no time to pick it up... very annoying, wish i thought about this a little harder before hand haha..
  17. abit of success... not sure what it is though yet?...
  18. Yea will do mate, I was hoping to get a pic off to the guys at JEM before 5..... It's looking doubtful now though
  19. Appreciate it mate, and will do. Should be right, seems I only need to remove that one other bolt, then move the bracket and unscrew. Should be able to tackle it haha...
  20. Haha he's not staying to help... But I'm far worse than he is haha
  21. Yea got some spanners, but none the right size unfortunately! And yea tried without the extension, couldn't get enough force onit to budge it. Jarrads bringing me some tools haha
  22. I've failed already, shitty socket set isn't long enough to remove one of the bolts ha
  23. Thanks guys, will keep you posted, go in to do it now
  24. so your saying just remove the bracket? then i should be able to get to the screws to pop the lid off? im abit slow with this stuff haha.. im scared of breaking something!
  25. yea fair enough, nice one. do i need to remove the bracket the ecu is in? or does it pop/unbolt from that? i do need to unbold the top to open it, so im going to have to remove it from the bracket yea?
