  7. Sorry mate, only saw this then.. and reading through the thread today was very interesting.. didnt realise the tyre size i was reccomended to use for my wheels are the wrong size.. not happy! i really wish i had more time when i bought the car (had to get new wheels and tyres on there straight away) to do this reasearch! im now looking to see if 285/30 will fit nicely with my 19x10.5+22 rims, as its not as common offseet as the +12/15s etc.. from what i could see on the car this afternoon the rubbing is only happening on the outside face of the tyre (need to check this further though), therefore my +22 offset should give me an extra 1cm to play with over the guys running 19x10.5+12, if its rubbing on the inside face though i could be in trouble, as my wheels site in further etc... and then using the below calculator, running 285/30s will bring back to stock rolling dia, and also give me an additional 1cm to play with over my current tyres. Dont really want more stretch than i currently have if i can avoid it runninng the 275/30 etc... have a look at the below calulator, its pretty handy to see how different wheel and tyre setups will look. http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=245&aspect=40&diameter=18&wheelwidth=9&offset=30&width2=285&aspect2=30&diameter2=19&wheelwidth2=10.5&offset2=22&Submit=Submit anyone running 19x10.5+22 that has any feedback?

  11. I reckon you should take the wing off mate... I actually don't mind the clean look it gives the 34 without the wing.
  12. Nah I have seen mnp iii vspec 1s... My guess, there was 300 released of both mnpii and mnpiii... Mnpii were in 99, mnpiii were in 2000, pre the vspec series 2 stage etc... Just what I can gather.. Anyways, sorry this Thread has gone off topic abit ha
  13. I was pretty sure that the midnight purple colours were only on series one?... Much like yellow and red...
  14. I've got 19x10.5 +22 with 275/35 on stock ride height.. Rubs a little on full lock on the inner guard
  15. Saw a pearl white 34r going down buemont st today, seen it around a few times.. Not sure if the owner is on here?
  16. Yea not a fan of the almost pastel type yellows, the Nissan yellow Is pretty good, not too bright, but is still a deepish yellow.. Ha yep longz gtr was one of the first gtrs I looked at, unfortunately it wasn't for me though... Good luck with the search, I'm sure you'll find what your looking for in time.
  17. Where's your pics chookie??... Keen to see them!
  18. Nice to see yellow is on your list, there not very popular! I also rate the purple at the top:) there awesome colours. Good luck in your search mate, good ones arnt easy to find. Ps there is what I've heard a really nice mnpii 34r on carsales in syd for 89k.. Pricy but has alot of bells and whistles!
  19. Gotta get your car on the road here in newy before relocating mate!
  20. Cheers for the comments guys. Yea mate, it will happen! Up here or in Sydney one day. Was funny, when we were finishing up we had the guys that organized the art behind my car, they mentioned they would like to see the pics, and they can tell us other areas they have done also. Some good potential spots around there for sure
  21. only me jarrad and chookie turned up, but was very late notice.... Found a really good spot for pics though.. heres two of mine, they turned out ok... not 100% happy, but the location/idea has huge potential, and very keen to see chookies, as im sure they will turn out amazing...
  22. just finish work early mate! will be a nice drive, old pac on the way home... will be very quiet
  23. Hey buddy, was justing thinking about the location, i think they have gates to the carpark that they might lock at night from memory... just thought of it then?... not sure on any good alternatives though.
  24. Yea sounds good mate, the lull in the market is everywhere though (with regards to coal) as the price is shit, and it's cutting their profit margins I think.. But by Xmas / the new year I think it should be a lot better, and I reckon in your trade you will be fine.
  25. Parts of the mine industry are flattening dude... It should pick up again in the near future I think. Mines are getting very tight in some areas, spending is down. My mate works for rio and was concerned for his job. The company I work for is 100% mine focused, and we are all and have been twiddling our thumbs for weeks!
