  1. Hey mate thanks for your advice, nothing has changed recently in the electronics of my car; (I got it in June last year, and replaced the JDM double din about a year ago). Fitted an exhaust, spacer and swaybars recently, but the only thing that was unplugged in that time was the AFM (and I had to reset the ECU when I forgot to plug it in LOL) Looks like I'm up for a new cluster then?
  2. I'm at work at the moment (I ride a motorbike to work) so I'll check for corrosion when I get home (Thanks Dale!) All four go off when you use the hazards, and when you indicate it shows the right one flash once on the dash, but all the indicator lights go off. Makes me think there is a short or something... (from memory the wiring of the immobiliser was pretty dodgy; gotta love compliance workshops)
  3. Thanks mate, appreciate it! If it wasn't stinking hot I would have been attempting a trial fit this afternoon
  4. I'm taking my car down to willowbank for test and tune one night soon, I'll post up a video to show you how the exhaust sounds.
  5. I think the sedan and the coupe are a bit different, as there isn't a u shared bracket, not physically holes where there are on the stagea/sedan... My old man took a look at it and he works for Nissan. Daleo was pretty helpful too
  6. I installed it yesterday on my V35 coupe, and I reckon the car is less twitchy exiting a corner, and far less likely to spin up an inside rear wheel if you get on the gas to early. Mine is standard other than whiteline swaybars. Now to drill some holes to fit the front brace...
  7. Hey guys, My indicators are only working on the right, on the left it has gone weird (basically it clicks once, but not continually). So to indicate left I have to frantically turn them on and off (reminds me of my old Honda postie bike, which I used to do that to stop the annoying beeper from coming on) I've got a Mongoose imobiliser that was installed at compliance, I'm wondering if it could be something to do with that? Or if its more likey that the stalk is rooted. Thanks guys! Glen
  8. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JIC-Magic-INFINITI-G35-2door-CVP35-OVAL-SUS-Exhaust-/330451322538?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cf06f06aa#ht_897wt_1165 I really like the sound; it isn't very droney (except for when the rear clamp leaks; but as I said, that;s because my compliance cats have shortened my exhaust by several inches)
  9. Coupe or sedan? I have a JIC Magic Spartan DE I bought from their reseller (Bullet exhausts) in the US. Look on ebay. Its pretty cheap, mine was under 800 delivered I'm really happy with it; except my compliance cats made my exhaust a little bit shorter than it should... makes the fitment a bit off. Going so sort that with some high flow cats eventually.
  10. Just let me know when its decided who they are going to... and I'll PM my address if needed
  11. LOL! Thanks guys. My car has had generic cats fitted at compliance, so the cat support bracket isn't doing anything anyway. And a turbo WOULD fix a lot of problems
  12. So should there be anything different involved in fitting it to a V35 coupe? Had a quick poke under the car after looking at the picture posted earlier in the topic and think I must be missing something
  13. Recieved mine this week as well. Just waiting for a chance to throw it on the car Will probably end up doing it with my sway bars if they arrive this week.
  14. Hey guys, sorry I couldn't make it today. Had a bit of a family emergency this morning
  15. Thanks mate, will do when I get my phone repaired (broke the camera the other week). Other than that, I'm trying to work out how to kill the drone a bit. (between 2 and 2.5k rpms) Not sure if its my cheap Y-pipe with the thin steel walls (The JIC has very thick steel in the piping... unlike the Y-pipe where it is thin), or if I need an extra resonator or straight through muffler installed before the rear muffler. One thing I have learned with previous cars is that exhaust shops don't seem to know how to get rid of drone unless you are a commodore, falcon or excel (which I suppose is probably the average exhaust shops bread and butter)
  16. hey guys, well my new exhaust arrived last night - JIC Magic Spartan exhaust. I'm running this and an N*Power Y-pipe. Got it fitted today, fit and finish seem quite good, one tip protrudes slightly further than the other, but nothing rubs or clangs. It isn't ridiculously loud (despite the fact that the rear muffler is pretty much straight through, and there is no other muffler!), but it isn't as quiet as the Legalis R. There isn't any drone, except at between 2 and 2.5k.... (DAMNIT!) , I am planning to add a three inch resonator to hopefully cut this out (in a similar position to where the standard exhaust has the smaller muffler) I'm pretty happy with it, total cost is 800 including delivery to my door from the US. Haven't taken any pictures of it on the car, but it looks good!
  17. I've heard good things about Mercury Motorsport; never used them myself though. What are you wanting done?
  18. I ended up buying a JIC Magic Spartan exhaust from the US... Apparently its Legalis-R like, and the price was right (I will be writing a review of it after installation). PN-Mad, Are you happy with Uprev? Is it easy to remap throttle etc?
  19. Still using the stock exhaust and compliance cats. My exhaust should be here within the week According to FedEx tracking its on holiday in Hawaii
  20. Hey guys, I'm looking at going for Osiris Uprev on my 03 6spd coupe (I emailed them about it and they think it should now be supported ). Anyone know of any workshops in Brisbane that have used it before? I'd rather not be paying a tuner by the hour for him to be learning how to use the software. Nothing serious, I'm just hoping to get rid of the throttle reduction in the first three gears and make it nicer to drive. By the time I get reflashed the car will have a full exhaust, plenum spacer, and a z-tube intake... Thanks guys!
  21. Mine went on today, I ended up getting an exhaust shop to do it as I couldn't get the bolts to budge (they had to use an oxy torch on all of them). It isn't any louder, tiny bit deeper. To make it sound better or get more power out of the exhaust you would really need to replace the rear mufflers, that's where the restriction is! But back to the y-pipe, other than the PITA nuts and bolts on the car, it went straight on
  22. Yay! So I'm not in for too much cursing and pain in the morning when I fit it
  23. Yep! It arrived this morning. I'm going to test fit the Y-pipe over the weekend if I can get the car high enough off the ground to be bothered (will be with the compliance cats and the standard rear pipe + muffler). Came with gaskets and fairly good quality nuts and bolts. The guy is in archerfield, if I had known that I would have asked if I could pick it up.
