  1. Hi everyone, now I know it isn't a skyline! Posting my AE111 Corolla Levin BZG for sale 162xxxkm, Pearl white (which is silver) 4age 20V Black top engine (have a dyno sheet for it making 110hp at the wheels somewhere) 5 Speed manual, FWD (no LSD) Imported by me back in 2007/2008. Aftermarket stuff: 15x7 Enkei RPF1's Aftermarket Ram tubes inside factory plenum Aftermarket exhaust with Fujitsubo Muffler & high flow 'metal cat' Alpine CDA9886 head unit (USB port in the glove box), MB Quart splits in the front. Sound deadened doors and bootlid Tinted Windows Selbys 22mm Rear swaybar, front upper Whiteline strutbrace and lower JIC Magic brace Lovells lowering springs + standard shocks (the car has Macpherson struts, not the troublesome Superstrut suspension) Facelift BZR Tail lights Bad stuff: Front right fog light fills with water (they all do it! I have replaced these fog lights since buying the car with a brand new one and it was only a matter of time before this one started doing it too, every other Pre-facelift AE111 has the same issue) Paint on the roof is soapy Few little imperfections in the bodywork - you can see a dint in the photo below that was caused when I used to work at a school - I believe the asking price reflects that the car is not perfect. Chasing $7000 with an RWC and 6 months QLD Rego. I am only selling as I have bought the car I have wanted for the last 5 years, a V35 350GT coupé. As far as two door cars go it is quite practical having a big boot (for a 2 door!) and a rear seat that partially folds flat. Just don't try putting anyone taller than 5'5 in the back The Levin is a great car to drive, and has served me well over the last few years. Would suit a P plater or someone wanting a car that is fairly cheap to run without being an econo box (550km/40L BP98, 4 cylinder registration), after having driven non turbo R33's and R34's I would say this is definitely more fun to drive! PM Me for more details, I live on the southside of Brisbane
  2. Hurray for Pearl White coupés! And here was me thinking they were all Silver...
  3. Oh and here is the car at the compliance workshop, beside my current car, an AE111 Levin Both imported through J-spec
  4. Hey everyone, Well I'm picking up my V35 in the next few weeks and it has a Carrozzeria system in it with TV/NAV/HDD I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about these systems? (if they play divX?, and if i can buy a hard drive for it or rig up a USB input). Mechanic at the compliance workshop told me that straight off the bat when he turned it on it picked up Channel 10 Only other question is about FM Expanders, is there one I can buy that means I don't have to lose half of the Australian radio stations? (eg: having 89 - 104, or 94 - 108) Sorry if it has been asked a thousand times, I did a quick search and couldn't find much of use. Thanks!
  5. I just checked out my V35 at the compliance workshop. Hopefully have it in a few weeks, and then have to meet up with some other V owners in Brissy. I'm in the South Brisbane area So excited to finally get to drive one!
  6. I was trying to work out whether to replace my US sized QLD plate with a slimline for the front and your photos have convinced me its a good idea Awesome car mate! I would be spewing about the hail thought What spec is it? Auto or Manual? Premium/Non, Leather? What are your plans for it?
  7. I like that subtle spoiler! Looks good mate
  8. Congrats on V35 ownership What have you upgraded from? Can't wait to get mine, its still in Japan
  9. Sorry Mine is an 03 I have a 2003 minus the sat nav/bose, with part leather seats, privacy glass, steering wheel controls, and its manual (so it gets brembos) Premium (in the pre-facelift ones) just means you have Bose and dual zone climate control, Nav & Leather is still factory options
  10. I went for one without the TV or Nav option Then its just like any other car (except still way cooler!)
  11. Depends on when you buy it relative to when the next boat is, Mine arrives in Australia on 19th of July. Shipping itself is not that expensive (considering you are moving a whole car from one country to another!), but you also have all of the import duties, customs etc to pay, and not to mention all of the other importing costs. Oh and it turns out mine isn't a premium, as it doesn't have dual zone climate control or the Bose system. but it has the leather/suede seats and pearl white paint so I am happy!
  12. I'd go for the maxima VQ engine that will just keep going and going (my old A32 Maxima has 330,000km on it and will not die - my father now potters around in it) They aren't a very good looking car, but they are well built, comfy, and very practical (roomy!) Old man works at a Nissan dealer and they don't seem to have any problems with the newer Maxima's
  13. How do you adjust the ride height with a separate spring? I'm assuming you would have to swap springs to adjust it as per a conventional shock?
  14. Old Thread resurrection! My V35 is a few months away (Lands in Australia on July 19 and then has to go through compliance) but I live on the South side. Moved here from the Sunshine Coast at the start of the year When I get it I'm keen for some skid pan or going down to Willowbank What sort of V did you get Turbotonic?
  15. Is there any way to tell if they are premium by the VIN number? Seems like it would be a more reliable way of working it out
  16. How loud is it just driving around and doing 110kph on the highway?
  17. *drool* V36 coupe + black on black.... noice! Did you put clear over them when you were finished?
  18. Here is mine Importing it through J-spec, it is still in Japan at the moment. White 2003 350GT Premium, 6spd No Crazy plans for it, but the plan is for exhaust/intake, reasonable coilovers, and enjoying the awesomeness that is a VQ35DE
  19. Hey everyone, I've got a v35 350GT coupe on the way from Japan at the moment, Anyway was planning to do a bit of skid pan and take it to the drags (I live on the South Side of Brisbane so I am quite close to a drag strip, and as for skid pan, it was fun in my AE111 but it will be much MORE fun with a VQ35DE and rear wheel drive ) Anyone know if 17s fit over the brembo's on the rear? Was hoping to be able to pick up a pair. Save frying the 245/45/18s I used search, and all I could find was they definitely wont fit on the front. Anyone tried it on the back? Thanks!
  20. Nice, How many Pre-outs does the head unit have? My car (I haven't actually seen it yet) has a double din Carrozzeria unit in it and I was thinking I might swap it out for one of these when it gets here; especially if it has 3 sets of pre-outs (like my current Alpine CDA-9886 + Imprint has) I've found in most of my previous cars that sound deadening is the best upgrade you can make to your cars sound system. Basically more sound waves stay inside the cabin of your car; Obviously won't help if your stock speakers are knackered
  21. That is awesome! How do you find the quality of the new head unit? (compared to say, an Alpine)
  22. Thanks, Think I might save up for a set to suit my pearl white 350GT, if they do them in 18 inch and appropriate width/offset (pictured is 19s... I'm not that rich!)
