Also interested to see what 6/4 is like Ronin: - what car are you running the 6/4 in?? Spoke with Otomoto - Parramatta Sydney - the guy said that they should come factory for a R32 Gtr as 8/6, he said also that the settings for road should be anywhere from 1/3 closest to soft up to no more than 1/2 way adjusted to hard. he said running them on totally soft (which i have had to do to tone it back abit untill i get it change in the next few weeks) wasnt good, he sugegsted to firsrly look at the compression settings i.e. lenght of the coil which should be 200mm. if this is any less the compression is too much and can give back feedback and feel. So my car should be in workshop this weekend and im gonna look at what coils i have (i.e. count the number of coils and then tell Otomoto so they can tell me what settings im running) also gonna check out this spring length. if its really too much etc and i need new springs, they are $100 an end, to me that is pretty cheap for springs to make em feel better and particularly as its a street driven gtr, will be 90% street 10% track. I have the facilities to change the springs quite quickly so not worried about swapping if have a track day etc. stay tuned boys. Anyone have a R32 Gtr with these coilovers and has a decent street setup that i could tag along with for a quick ride/drive to compare???? will swing some homemade brew or petrol money. JD

not 100% sure mate. if you swing me some pics to [email protected] i can have a look see and see whether they will work. Its more the colours i think that were immediately different and trim quality level. most of the garnished pillars lining etc should be same same.. also the colour needs to be same as currently in there. Might need to upload some pics so i can be more descriptive of what im after. cheers

Hey guys. I am trying to bring my R32 Gtr up to immaculate condition interior wise. These are the parts i am after. i am after as good as possible quality. - cluster surround, also indicator stalk surround - interior door handles and surround - rear window/roof lining trim - window top seals - AC vents middle and left, need to be perfect or i dont want them. - lots of other little pieices that i cant think of. The quality needs to be there, this is basically to make my car perfect. pls pm or post what you have, we can look at photos and go from there. JD

Thanks for the reply mate. its stiff all over! its currently on the softest setting and still quite jolty. Spoke with one of the guys from otomoto and they suggested looking at the height of the spring to check dampening etc. Gonna go to the work shope count the coils and then let them know what i have so we can work out if they are harder springs or the stock ones with incorrect spring height possibly. the car was being setup for targa tasmania when i bought it so they could well be really stiffere spring rates. i mean i want a lowered car, but practical (which is where its at right now) i just dont want to feel every single bump crack in the road as much as what i am feeling, but i also want that firm feeling. so will have a look see and see whats going on. cheers

Hey guys. i have HSD HR coilovers for my R32 Gtr at present. now they are stiff as shit and ultra firm. They have the adjustability etc, i dont know alot about these coilovers at all (i know they are budget brand but they came with the car, i would upgrade but for what i want they will do and the money is more useful for my tune/build). Does anyone know what the standard GTR spring rates would be that these would come with?? My aim is pretty simple: i want to get some softer springs, i like firm but i also like streetable, the car was alright before on stock wheels but now its on 18s it has become alot more hows your father. so want softer springs, also going to be installing a whiteline sway bar set to firm all the roll up. Car sits practically low at the moment, i like it where it is, handles - pretty good, minimal body roll. I understand that adding the sway bars is gonna help that when the springs are softer. Any advice, guidance anything would be most appreciated!!! cheers JD.

Can you confirm the quality and the seller. if so? how? do you have these parts on your car for visual representation fit etc photos? Not meaning to stir or to cause trouble but the photos of the deflectors look very simmilar (if not the same) to another "chinese* seller that i have dealt with. was also looking to potentially hook up some good prices for skyliners. Now prices etc sound reasonable for what they are however i had a massive problem with this seller and entered a Paypal dispute for some months to repense for a carbon fibre wing that i bought, along with wind deflectors. Now the wing came broken, cracked, bolts were crookered so it would never fit to the boot on my 32 Gtr, deflectors were great. Now in some investigation from myself photos which the seller assured were of my actual wing, deflectors are viral over the following sites - Alibaba - Ebay, uk, us, aus (dont think so as the seller was banned for fraud photos/claims as a result) - other deal sites, wholesale sites etc, chinese, australian and US sites again. The same crowd also do a R32 Gtr twin dash mounted gauge holder which i bought, this didnt even come close to fitting my 32 and was for in fact a 33 (was at my mates shop and the shop track 33 was in there and for laughs we placed it in there for a visual and it fit perfectly. Now i was refunded/claimed all my expenses so i am not angry about the whole situation, a little pissed about a massive muck around, i would just like to voice this to everyone as the photos look to be very close to the ones i had (obviously i could be wrong, could be another wing, other simmilar photos, different factory etc etc. Just a warning.) So i would like to know the Guarantee on parts/fit quality etc: Are you able to look into the following products for a R32 Gtr: - radiator air guide (longer version, simmilar to R33 one pictured) - internal door scuff plates - R32 Gtr wings (near future) Cheers. I respect you for organising this group buy, it took so much patience dealing with an international company/supplier let alone the refund replacement side of things, courier companies, shipping, third party services i.e. paypal Sorry for having a dig or rant, i think it is peoples right to know some of the experience stories. could be a life saver u never can be sure.

They refer to a shuffling? one member states it as the chipmunk noise, is this referring to the noise of the BOV's (might be a really dumb question) the talking bovs. mine makes the ba ba ba ba ba noise if you hold on boost then ease off abit.. mates Gtr did the same thing, is this just how they are on stock bovs?? If its a viable mod might be keen to get one through GTROC.. any help would be appreciated.

Im doing 265/35/18 on my 18 x 10's.. if anyone wants an idea of fittment see my posts and pics. Under the same boat 265 was appropriate stretch, so i mean 245 would be quite a bit wouldnt it? particularly for a Gtr which would be just about all that would fit this on here? unless fender bender drift spec was included. Shouldnt the profile be 35 though?? whats the difference going to be.. Sorry for swagger jacking the thread, just curious is all. Porn wheels PS, id be all over these if i didnt already have mine.

Thanks for the pics champ, Looks setup really well considering. Im thinking once we have it fitted, might look at fabbing up a little duct system maybe to just direct air, but should be sweet as down near the intercooler. Again PICS look really good man, good job

Have to agree with Dan, I would rather have a slightly over reading as more of a warning system than something which is more variant and less of a true reading. Mocal looking like the way to go, have checked and the 10 -AN setup will basically go straight in where i have a joiner on the system (told my mechanic/mate) so fingers crossed a very easy addition. price is so so, if i add everything up im getting a full relocation kit with the thermostat and oil cooler for dirt cheap really so couldnt be happier, just need to get it fitted. Dan- Did you fit your kit yourself?? how easy was it all to fit and where do you have the oil cooler mounted?? Any ideas about what filter is needed for the kit? standard RB26 R32 Gtr filter?

Yeah, Im a big believer in the added insurance. Basically the car hasnt seen any track days, this may change coming up as the engine is geetting a tune and a few other things being added to get the power up. it runs about 290kwaw and im aiming to get it up to around 350ish eventually to see the car come alive a bit more. It will be having a oil catch can setup put on, and i was basically looking for a relocation kit, this one came up cheaper than a greddy kit with the cooler so i jumped on it. Id rather have extra thatn not enough on oil side of things. have priced up two remote oil thermostats -Earls: $100 odd also has an option for a sensor for gauges etc. -Mocal remote setup about $160 landed Both seem pretty good. thinking more so the earls one however. Any feedback/things i should look out for?? J

Hey guys, Just after some assistance.. Bought a Oil filter relocation kit with an oil cooler, it doesnt come with a thermostat, just a junction piece. How hard is it going to be to firstly buy a thermostat? will a universal one fit with some modification at the workshop? This is for a R32 Gtr, got this basically for a steal for the relocator kit and going to run the oil cooler for RB26 piece of mind. Is it 100% bad to not have the thermostat?? it will rarely in the next year see a track day its mostly my street driven car. Cheers. ANY help would be most appreciated!! J

Looks like a 33 gtr box. They say 32 33 but it doesn't mount up on the 32 I'm sure. Had this problem looking for on in Japan. There is also different versions of the boxes. Up to 3 I've been told in the r32 case. You will be able to notice a lip on the inside of the filter. This prevents the suck in. Older versions disnt have this lip. Hence suck in. Hope that helps.
