  5. That is a fair call man, however thats done proper. I have slight bias towards the situation due to every experience i have with some twit in whatever with a loud ptsssssshhhhhhhhhh bov trying to drag race me each time i go out to hills district to pick up my gf (window up usually works), or any time i go out west, or the dousche who lives near me with the gay wrx by 2sus who loves letting his incredibly loud atmo bov loose everytime he drives by my parked car at 1-3am some mornings.. i agree with the above, if it neeeds to be done do it right. my 2c.

  8. neo chrome or titanium on black with white car would look dope. Mine are red D1 lug nuts with gunmetal wheels on a gunmetal grey gtr. looks good, if i had black wheels would go possibly red or the neo chrome titanium look.

Im pretty interested in this topic also. have read just about every thread about it speculating, some saying this and some saying that, its all piping, its all tune, its all turbos etc etc. Im really interested after seeing some youtube videos: type 'Gtr surging' i think for a dyno and the noise is severe! its sounds like a high pitch screetching meets external waste gate noise. that guy had it labelled as surging, i believe it was a guy from Gtroc but not 100%. I run -7s i believe on my 32 all with stock intake piping, apexi pods and stock twin turbo pipe with no mod (have considered it). i get the choo choo choo choo *trailing off as i believe all bov pressure is released??? when going up a hill under load and releasing the gas a fraction, i can get it to do it if i work at it on flat but most prominent on hills etc. have talked with a mate and apparently thats not a problem its only a problem if you get it all the time, basically if your not trying to do it and get it *problem. Have since bought a cusco hot pipe which replaces intercooler pipe and twin turbo pipe back in one, these are apparently suppose to help channel air through better, waiting for tomorrow on silicon joiners then going to give it a go (just for something different). keen to see if this changes anything to do with how it drives. I also have issues with restrictions through stock dump pipes. waiting on tune in a bit to swap them out for 34gtr dumps and see if this makes it worse/lesser? Is there anything i should be looking in to or am i fine?? is my shuffling* not really a problem, car doesnt feel bad, no vibrations or shaking. turbos are being ported and balanced with larger actuators when going for my tune for bit more hp also.
  10. hey mate if you wanna see what 265/35/18 looks on a 18x10 rim on a gtr have a look at my posts of my car when i got the new rota grids on it. 265 look a little stretched, i think for how low the car is i would not go a 285, however i might play around with how it sits! R31nismoid's R33 Gtr with the 10.5 with the 285s looks pure porn, helps that it has everything, colour, stance, height, wheels. just buy his car lol. (seriously nice car man, loving the wheels!). 265 - little stretched, 285 - purposeful. Not to mention from behind looks pure fat and wide ass.
  11. If your in Sydney. Talk to Unigroup. Yavuz and the guys have said they can fit the ID1000's with an 11mm plug to a stock rail, been done before. I will be taking mine in the next few weeks to be fit. Obviously some work needs to be done but they said it was an easy process. im in this position as i dont want a aftermarket fuel rail, going for a stock look (back on with airbox etc etc everything in engine going black etc) I listened to what Steve N1GTR said in the how to get 300kw + thread, ID's idle nice, dirvability is great and well for possible future plans, i.e. E85 etc 1000cc will do the job and more at present. Mine is a lightly modded car going for about 340awkw. food for though.

  13. Must be tune related. I would be looking at another tuner perhaps, if they missed such a thing on the initial tune what did they miss/not do second time around. particularly if you had to drive back to QLD. Mine as said above pops lightly on 1st to 2nd if i rev it out slowly sometimes, also has little flutter pops under deceleration, depends on conditions also how ive been driving etc. Car runs bit rich at present and is going in for a tune shortly with new mods will see how she goes afer that. GL with it.
  14. Can you provide flow testing on the injectors? are they direct plug and play to a R32 Gtr? i.e no modification needed to housings etc. i know that the bigger Sard injectors have issues and have to be made to fit. How neg are you on price? and how many km were done roughly?

  18. Not sure as to limits of injectors. They are still stock ones. have read through all the guides/setups/power rating posts. that injectors will need to be upgraded, whether its as far as 800cc/ID1000cc. at least the bump up to 640cc was required to get more from the tune. upping the rail pressure on stock injectors? will that work for dash 7's over 300kw. I am already going in for a tune and having more things added, the injectors was one of the things i had budgeted for. thanks for your help.
  19. Hi Guys, Wondering if i can get some assistance with Injector choice. have been suggested to get the ID1000cc injectors for smooth idle and niceness. Have also found guys selling them for like around $650, $700 shipped. - have read a lot that these dont fit straight into a stock fuel rail which is what im running currently. had a look at bosch 800cc which say they are drop in fit for stock rail. again about $700 Sard 800cc, people say the 700cc are drop in however when you go to the 800cc they dont drop straight in. Nismo 700cc - 800cc. these are suppose to be direct fit. Is anyone able to give me some good information/advice. Everyone speaks highly of the ID1000 injectors but are they gonna be a pain in the ass to fit?? im only going for the -7s setup on stock Rb with supportin mods for whatever over 300 i can get, currently around 290 on 18psi. Do i need the 800cc's or should i go for a 700 or there around abouts? I want something that is gonna be best for price (obviously the more i save the better) that is direct fitment or near abouts (little modification) to fit my stock fuel rail. Have also seen quite a few second hand sets getting around been used for like less thatn 5000km have flow charts etc. Is this a worthy option for the $400 odd price range, have seen HKS, Greddy 700cc, bosch 800cc, etc available.   21. Thanks mate.. would appreciate that.. looking for as close to perfect as possible. think im ok for vents, RHD has then for really cheap brand new so might be easier. Still looking into replacing the drive shafts. havent forgotten bout your offer. just need time to get the mechanic to have a quick look again and double check. cheers mate.
  22. I run 18x10 wheels with 265 30 tyres. Got under there yesterday and had a quick look. front is 200m on the dot, rears is like 195mm, counted the coils so gonna call otomoto and see what springs i have in there.. once i know i will know a better way to go about setting it up.. might go down the next level from what it has in it wind up the compression to roughly a bit below half and add sway bars in. then should be pretty nice again.
  23. Have a look on speedhunters. thats where the photo is from. i found it as i am getting these mirrors soon (currently in mail) for my 32 Gtr. The lights are the N1 lights, you pull the light apart and paint the inside projector cover black, gives that affect. looks dope as if you run HID's or white bulbs. thinking of doing it to mine. will put up some pics of mine with new lip, carbon goodies and new East bear mirrors.
