tks Gents! Why do you say laggy? They seem like rather small twins.. slightly bigger than stock.. I'm sure it cant be laggier than a single set up? 91 will definitely be the biggest problem so we shall see what kind of numbers it turns up.. the set up is an S13 chassis with a freshly rebuilt rb25 trans..

I wanted to get some opinions from those who had experience with these units.. basically i'm running a pair of newly rebuilt RR581's, on a fresh built R33 motor with all basic upgrades.. downpipe,injectors, fmic, filter, z32 mafs, tomei dumps, cams, and slightly higher compression, however not by much only by a point or so.. Since we only have 91 octane here car will be tuned to max on pump gas and leave room to turn up boost higher with race gas.. any ideas what I may expect?? ball park? Many tks for comments in advance!! btw, it will be tuned on power FC with datalogit..

So i'm throwing Poncams on my R33 GTR motor, as we all know these do not require any valve train mods and give power out of the box, however from everyone's experience would it be beneficial to pair them up with cam gears then tune? Or do they already come pretty well set up as a bolt-in application? also any suggested settings if cam gears are suggested? p.s. motor is freshly built, running RR581 turbos, z32 mafs, etc. etc.. Hello Everyone! Im looking for any help you guys can offer in regards to Z32 compatibility in regards to RB25 trans. Here is a quick background of my problem.. I ran an R33 GTR motor w/RB25 trans until i spun a rod bearing at the track, finally a year later after blow up, i found time and some money to get this thing rebuilt.. so I decided to have a look at the trans as I remember my 2nd and 5th were notchy.. I actually ran red line syncro mesh and that put a patch on 5th.. after breaking the trans apart all looks pretty decent, normal wear and tear, however i don't want to put it back together to find the same problem or even more so bearings were making noise and not that trans is apart they will for sure make even more noise.. major problem is that this is sitting in my s13 so once its in, trans is not coming out unless we are pulling the motor out.. I have been unable to find a solid answer if Z32 internals are identical to RB25 trans internals, many on the forums will say yes but nothing concrete. Since i'm here in USA parts are through the roof for Z32 items at the dealer not to mention that I would need a syncro/bearing rebuild kit.. looking at easy 1K worth of parts with no guarantee that it will actually fit. I have been told that Z32 trans can be mounted on the Rb25 bell housing? If so, these are easy to source and cost a lot less. Does anyone know the gear ratios between Z32 and RB25 trans? I know there is lots of GTS guys around here that may have come across a similar dilemma, has anyone tried this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! To top it off I have a freshly rebuilt rb25 Exedy twin plate that I will use so I have to stick to this trans.. can't fab any other tranny on there as this will require a new clutch and additional headaches.. I am new to the forum but have been on lots of other forums over the years, if anyone needs feedback please let me know, I also have an excellent Ebay feedback so you may check that out as well. Here is what I have for sale: As the title says these are Nismo Lemans RB26 twin turbos made by Garrett Part number is: 14411-RR581 466089-7 I was planning to use this on my RB26, but motor took a dump before I got around to installing these babies so I have to focus on a rebuild first. These turbos are good for about 670ps. They are in "brand new condition" and have never been ran on the car. They have been sent to Garrett directly to be fully rebuilt and balanced and have zero miles on them. They will come with all hardware necessary including brand new gaskets :-) I'm asking $2200 for the pair. These turbos are proven to turn some serious numbers on an RB26 and are plug and play affair. I also have brand new unopened in box pair of Tomei dumps for $500. I would prefer to sell all of it to a single buyer and can obtain a killer deal on shipping due to Fedex discounts I obtain at work.
