  1. Hey Everyone, Extending the invite to SAU Guys. Everyone is welcome but I would love to see an R35 on the Drag Strip!! Please check the below link prior to leaving for the meet for last minute changes http://www.gtccoz.com/Resources/Events/201...hcote-Drags.jpg Thanks B
  2. Here are some http://tinyurl.com/yckguth
  3. Thanks to everyone who came. We got about 30 cars of various makes and models. I apologise for the cruise map which was a bit off track. We also had to take an alternate route to Colac due to a motobike fatality on Skenes Creek rd. Overall I think it all went smoothly. When we have some pics I will post them cya Bran
  4. Matt: No hassles at all btw your car looks even better in the flesh. Green with Envy. -------------------- Hey Guys Just a quick update, weather is looking a bit uncertain. Please check the link in the original post prior to leaving for the meet, if cancelled it will clearly state that. So far it looks like a go. Thanks B
  5. Hey Mate, If you email me on [email protected] I will give you the details of our first stop which you can meet up with us there. As for another stop on Princess Hwy, afraid not we have too many stops already and will be pressed for time to get to lunch by 2pm I reckon. Thanks B PS: Next year I will seriously look into making another meet/stop to suit you guys better.
  6. I have invited Matt to come along but I think he may be o/seas as he hasn't replied. But we have bigger issues .. Rain forecasted. If it rains it will probably be postponed guys. Check the link in the first post for up to date status.
  7. Sorry unfortunately not, I haven't had the time due to other commitments . If you are coming watch out for the Todd Rd entrance its a bit tricky with the roadworks they are doing at the moment.
  8. I'll come down for a look sounds like it is going to be an awesome day.
  9. Nathan: You know I am looking at returning back to a GT-R myself. Love the Evo but whenever I see a GT-R, I wish I was driving mine again. Have you seen Matt Tangs NUR aka TangoMatt, that car is awesome.
  10. Awesome gents. Will amend it tonight .. thank you for your help.
  11. Yes I do particpate on Evo Oz Forums when time permits as they are a great bunch too. So you have a VSpec NUR now ? .. very nice. If you are free come for a drive.
  12. Yes mate still around but we have been pretty quiet as of late. I honestly haven't had the time to organise anything.
  13. I didnt know that. You have to support your club so you should go to SAUVic's cruise. Are they going to GOR too?
  14. Thanks for the quick replies. Yah I am sure that there are very clear signs heading to GOR but the reason why I ask the info is for the Cruise Maps we hand at the meet. This is a snip-et straight from the current Map, as you can see it is fairly detailed and this is the cut-downed version 1) Meet at Todd Road Shell Service Centre/KFC before Westgate Bridge (MEL 56 H1). MAKE SURE YOU FILL UP HERE. 2) Exit Shell and turn left onto the Westgate Fwy (M1) and stay on until signs show merging onto Princes Fwy (M1). Follow road left (MEL 40 E11). 3) Continue to stay on the Princes Fwy (M1) (MEL 442) through Corio into Geelong (Mel 432 & 442). Note speed decreases when driving through Geelong. 4) Take M1 through North Geelong into Geelong, passing the Ford Factory (MEL 442 & 452). Get into the right hand lanes, M1 heading towards Torquay, continue up over bridge on the M1 (MEL 452 A1). Note on Myers Road Geelong – Red light/speed camera at intersection (MEL 451 K4) 5) Continue on M1 past turn off for B110 and past Kardinia Park on the left hand side (MEL 401). Note red light/speed camera at intersection of M1 and C112 (MEL 401 C11). 6) Continue on M1 crossing over the Barwon River (MEL 451 K8) 7) Turn left at lights onto B100 Surf Coast Hwy towards the Great Ocean Road/Torquay (MEL 465 J1) soon after passing Daytona Go Karts Centre on the left. So I think since we state to keep on the M1, no changes are required.
  15. Hey everyone, I need someones help that knows the roads from Westgate bridge to Great Ocean Road. We are organising a cruise for the 28th Feb and we were planning on using the same map we have used for quite a few years. I have been told that the roads have changed a bit but I don't have the time to drive down and check it out. I tried using google maps but I still rather confirm with someone that knows. If you know the roads like the back of your hand and are kind enough to help me out, please email, pm me. Thanks Brandon
  16. Great to see some peeps planning on going R33GOD: Not skylines only mate, you should see a wide variety of cars attend. (If the weather holds)
  17. Yah you said it Ash, I can't believe 10 years already either, the first year it was mainly only friends only but we still did the Annual Cruise By roadworthy vehicle I agree No Death Traps but also keep in mind that at any time police may check your vehicle. But in the 9 years, from memory we have only been checked once which was in Apollo Bay. The rest of the time the police stop to say hi and admire the cars and take some snaps with us. Sam wrote a guide to Cruise Etiquette which is pretty good for anyone interested. http://sneezeinc.org/forum/index.php?topic=208.0
  18. Hey Everyone, I cannot believe GTCC turns 10 years old in March. Anyway we have always had an annual cruise so here it is again. Please check this link for any changes prior to leaving for meet point. http://www.gtcarclub.com/resources/2010022...sary_Cruise.jpg Said this time and time again, no reckless driving will be tolerated and please make sure your car is roadworthy. Thanks Brandon Cannot remember if I posted up the Dyno Pics from last year http://tinyurl.com/mkpjq9 <-- Here they are.
